Even after your appointment time you still have to wait another 2 hours or more. While all front desk girls gossip loudly. Smh never again

Hope you like waiting. I was kept waiting for way too long today. I asked if they could give me a call when it was my turn so I could get lunch. They flat out refused. Avoid this place!

I had a very disappointing experience with the appointment scheduler. I called to make an appointment for my daughter and explained that we live in New Jersey and that her New York insurance is no longer active. I also explained that we were willing to pay out of pocket for the visit. Instead of providing clear information or trying to help, the representative repeatedly told me that the doctor would lose his license if he saw my daughter because she previously had insurance from another state. Even after I explained that we are New Jersey residents, that my daughter attends school here, and that we were not planning to use the inactive New York insurance, she continued to insist that the doctor would lose his license if he treated her. I am a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), and based on my professional understanding, a physician does not lose their license for seeing an in-person patient who chooses to pay out of pocket. Rather than addressing my concerns professionally, the representative continued repeating the same statement and eventually disconnected the call. I understand that medical offices have policies and procedures, but patients deserve accurate information, respectful communication, and professional customer service. This experience was frustrating, misleading, and left me with little confidence in the scheduling process.

Lauren is incredible! She helped me right away over the phone when I needed support and everyone is awesome! Highly recommend.

Dr Parikh is fantastic. Very knowledgeable and caring. Today’s office waiting time however was way too long, over 2 hours and standing room only.

Come here if you have couple extra hours to wait for your scheduled appointment and if you are good at standing for those couple hours, as there is no free seats available.

Waiting time was not too long . Dr. Modi is a very friendly doctor . I would gladly recommend him to my friends and family members .

I had an extremely frustrating experience trying to schedule an appointment with this practice after being referred for an eye issue by my optometrist. I was repeatedly told by multiple staff members that my insurance required an “electronic referral,” despite my PCP office and health insurance both later confirming that my plan does not require this type of referral for specialist care. I spent hours going back and forth between the ophthalmology office, my primary care office, and my insurance company trying to resolve conflicting information while actively dealing with a concerning eye symptom. At one point, I was placed on hold for an extended period and never called back. Only after another staff member personally looked into the issue because I was on my last straw was I suddenly told, “Okay, you can come.” No explanation. The most disappointing part is that I called another ophthalmology office afterward and was scheduled smoothly within minutes with no confusion about referrals at all. I understand healthcare admin can be complicated, but the communication and handling of this situation caused unnecessary stress during an already vulnerable moment.

All the staff were especially helpful and compassionate. And Dr. Modi is extraordinarily kind, as well as highly skilled and knowledgeable. I'm so grateful for this wonderful medical office!

Complained to Dr Modi about the poor customer service. He didn't care. So I will go to a different doctor. He said ok good luck. Glad I found out before he performed the surgery.

I was there for checkup and the attention was very good and quickly and the doctor and the assistant was very helpful and very nice I like the way how work is was excellent

My first time to visit Palisade Eye Associates in Palisade Ave. Jersey City. I was seen by Dr Panariello. An excellent ophthalmologist. Very kind. Took his time explaining my eye condition. Im definitely bringing my wife to his practice. Thank you Dr. Anthony Panariello.

Waiting time to see Doctor was too long. However Dr Rau continues to be very patient and caring. Staff were all very friendly and courteous.

This was my first time at this location referred by my child’s pediatrician. I was truly impressed by how organized this team is. From the moment at intake to (checkout) as displayed; they were truly amazing. Dr.Hardik Parikh, MD was very informative about my son’s allergies and provided detailed instructions. I was very pleased with the service provided and the care shown.

The staff and Dr. Modi took several necessary measurements of my eyes in preparation for cataract surgery. Dr. Modi detailed his plans and appointments were set up for March 3rd and 4th.

Doctor Malilik and his staff at all Three locations are magnificent. They care for each patient with professionalism and extreme care for the patients needs.

Unfortunately, my experience with the reception staff at the eye doctor’s office was very disappointing. The way I was treated was unprofessional, both in person and over the phone. My questions were not answered respectfully, and there was a clear lack of attention and care toward patients. This is unacceptable, especially in a healthcare setting where kindness and respect should be a priority. I hope the management takes this seriously and works on improving the quality of customer service, because how patients are treated is just as important as the medical care they receive.

Dr Rau and all his staff are professional without attitude. They keep current with medical technology and balance a robust practice in a painless experience. If there is a full waiting room, it does move along. The team is great and Dr Rau is super highly recommend.

I have been a patient of Palisade Eye for at least 25 years and my experience with either office I have been to is always a wonderful experience. The staff is excellent and extremely friendly and helpful and Dr. Panariello is the absolute best!! A special thank you to Sasha in the Jersey City office. She has such a wonderful spirit about her.

Been a patient for the last couple years, despite fear and anxiety (injections into eye) Dr Mallick deserves high praise on all levels. Conduct and demeanor are outstanding, he eases the fear in a remarkable way every single time, very patient, explains the process and answers all questions.The procedure is done before you realize it due to his great way of distracting you. The staff is cheerful, friendly and very efficient in managing the place and the patients even when it is really crowded on certain days, perhaps a sign how well this office is perceived. Would recommend this office without any hesitation.

Great doctors, very professional, excellent service. I now live in Florida however My husband and I still come for our yearly eye check up with Dr. Anthony Panariello or Dr. Betty Cervenak. We also purchase both regular glasses as well sunglasses from them ,they stand behind what they sell. Very fair prices.

I simply submitted a request to see a specialist and my insurance never ever requested referrals to see any specialist. The lady in the phone informed me that I have to go through a regular doctor visit with them or get referral to see the specialist I said I have a referral already from my primary doctor, however she said that I still have to go through a general visit first and that’s the insurance policy. I believe That’s not true, and I will call my insurance and tell them that and find out why I been told that way
