If I could give less than one star I would. My first visit was today and my patient care experience was absolutely HORRIBLE. The tech never introduced herself or explained anything she was doing. She didn’t even greet me as a person. She began to perform tests without explanations. No hand hygiene was performed by my doctor or technician during my visit. The doctor (who never introduced himself) was not much better. He did not take the few minutes necessary to ask me about why I was there. This is an initial visit, as I am trying to get reestablished with an ophthalmologist, so I was expecting something very different. It seemed as though the technician and doctor did not care why I was there, but was only focused on getting me in and out the door. I will not be coming back and will not recommend to anyone who is familiar with how to be respected while receiving patient care. I understand that doctors’ offices can be busy, however there is a certain level of professionalism and human decency that comes along with caring for a human being.

In 2017, I began having issues with my vision and thankfully Dr. Itharat’s office popped up on Google. I have repetitively had acute episodes, and Dr. Itharat’s office has accommodated my needs when I needed an urgent appointment, even after an extended gap in seeing him. Dr. Itharat’s compassion and knowledge is unmatched, and I am confident that without his attention to detail, incredible bedside manner and passion for his patients, I would not have been able receive the treatment necessary to move forward with a diagnosis. Dr Itharat’s scheduling model allows for individualized patient-centered care. He consistently spends time addressing all questions and concerns without ever making the appointment feel rushed or inconvenient. I have even recommended my mom to see him for her complex eye issues and after seeing a variety of providers and never finding the “right” one, she found comfort and excellent care in Dr. Itharat and his team. If you are looking for an excellent doctor that is truly focused on his patients, I cannot recommend him & his team enough. Thank you for all you do, Dr. Itharat!!

I had a very positive experience at the office of Dr. Prat itharat, the eye exam was detailed. He was professional and appeared empathetic in regards to my concerns. His staff; receptionist nurse and clerk were professional, knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. The receptionist saw my concerns and made an available appointment the same day.
