Dr. Wei is hands down the best eye doctor I’ve ever had. She’s so personable and makes it such a welcoming environment. I’ve seen her for the past two years and she was such a good listener for both appointments, taking the time to hear my concerns about my prescription and work with me towards a solution. She is so patient and her appointments aren’t rushed. This past appointment, I came to her with concerns of my glasses prescription being too strong and making me dizzy and she worked with me address the issue, validate that I was right about things not feeling right, and commended me for being so intuitive about things feeling off. I’ve struggled with healthcare professionals misunderstanding or dismissing my concerns in the past, so it is so refreshing to feel fully understood and taken care of by at least one doctor in my life.

I’ve been going to eye doctors 20 years. Dr. Wei was by far the most thorough of all my visits, doing things no doctor had ever done. She also has a peaceful, kind, and sweet demeanor and would be a wonderful children’s optometrist because of that. When I asked about my daughter’s MiSight lenses she also mentioned things and options that I wasn’t told about by our other doctor. She knew the subtle differences even between the various types of moisturizing lenses through her observation of these l lenses with patients and how some work for different causes of eye dryness. Overall, she seemed to take more time to really learn her craft. Dr. Wei mentioned she is moving locations at the end of November and opening a practice in April in a nearby area. We definitely will be moving with her and I’m also planning to move my daughter’s visits to her as well. Another aside - her front office staff is incredibly nice! Lastly, Dr. Wei corrected my only one year old glasses prescription that only was clear if I held the glasses a centimeter off my nose. My other doctor said that was just how it had to be…(even when I returned saying this isn’t right) but Dr. Wei listened to me and agreed glasses shouldn’t be like that. She fixed by reducing my prescription and now the glasses work as they should - on my nose and not down it a centimeter. This is a great eye doctor, customer focused, actually listens to patients. Highly recommend moving with her to her next practice in April because it is worth it having a good eye doctor that you feel comfortable with.

I loved Dr. Nguyen's thoroughness and explanation along the course of my exam. She responded to my anxieties and concerns without ego and kept her responses focused on me. Truly an amazing professional. I intend to continue being her patient.
