DOCTORS ARE GREAT !!!!!!! DONT GET THIS POST WRONG !!! BUT JUST LIKE EVERYONE ELSE SAID ABOUT THIS THE WAIT TIME IS HORRIFIC 3 TIMES ALREADY WE HAVE BEEN UP THERE AND THE WAIT IS 4 TO 6 HOURS LONG !!!! SO JUST BE PREPARED HAVE PHONE CHARGED BRING SNACKS HEADPHONES OR A LONG LONG LONG BOOK EVEN a blanket and pillow at this point...

I recently had an appointment at the Eye Clinic scheduled for 9:00 AM. Despite arriving on time and waiting patiently, my dad was not seen by a doctor even after 4 hours. This experience was extremely unprofessional. The clinic's lack of respect for patients' time is unacceptable. I cannot recommend this clinic to anyone seeking timely and reliable eye care.

the open concept waiting room for multiple clinics is not a good environment for autistic/dev. delayed people. my son became overstimulated and a little aggressive. we rescheduled and left after waiting 2hr 45min beyond his scheduled appt. time.

Took dad for a eye appointment and young doctor with rude attitude snapped his finger at mi dad for not looking straight if he don’t wanna be there why even work there other staff great but that doctor needs to be more professional

What time today for the clinic? I have a really bad attitude for the manager. I’ll pay for my service. I don’t receive my service.

I waited less time for magic mountain on a weekend. The wait time is REDICULOUS. Why even have appointments? I waited 5 and half hours to be told to come back in 2 weeks!!! Absolutely ridiculous! What a waste of community money and space.

After 48 hrs of trying to get someone to return a call or answer their phone. I still don't have an appointment!! Every time I've called their number there's a 10 - 20 wait time.You wait until the recording asks if you want a call back within the time it says you have to wait!! 48 hrs and I've yet to receive a call back!! WTH kinda service is this?? Typical Parkland!!

This eye clinic exam appointment waiting period is terrible they scheduled for 12 and don't see you till 3 or 4 o'clock. Don't schedule for something that you the Doctors not going to be available til 4 or 5. The last appointment was scheduled for 1130 and seen at 5 30. Fix this

Brought my mom for an 11:30 appointment, she was called at 11:31am. Staff is extremely friendly even when very busy. Mom is happy and that's what counts. Some guy didn't check in at the front desk and was getting mad cause they wouldn't call him for his appointment, but they handled it nicely.

The wait time is atrocious and I was extremely disappointed with the service

They had me come in at 8:30 in the morning, with nothing to eat or drink after midnight. I am a diabetic. I got there at 8:30 in the morning and they did not call me back until 1:30 in the afternoon. We do not get home until after 5:30 in the afternoon. I had brought some cheese and crackers so at least I had something to eat. Obviously that is very dangerous for a diabetic to go that long in between eating. The staff was very friendly and reassuring and the surgery went well

ZERO STARS!!!!!! If they say you have 30 min appt plan to be there 6 hours.... unorganized and very uncaring.. nurses walk around people, watching them struggle with walking and breathing and they just pretend they didnt see it... worst place to allow your loved one to come to

My sister was discharged from Parkland after a car crash resulting in traumatic brain injury that left her completely blind, never having received so much as an eye exam. The Ophthalmology team were supposed to see her 2 weeks after discharge. Because of issues with the long term acute hospital she was transfered to not allowing her to leave, we had to wait a few weeks longer to schedule her eye clinic appointment. Now the eye clinic wants her to wait another 2 months to be seen. Imagine being newly blind and having to wait FIVE months before you even get a basic eye exam. Where is the Compassion in your C.A.R.E.?

Inconsiderate staff with no compassion for the patients they treat.

This place sucks. I have prolific diabetic retinopathy and has a surgery scheduled on the 29th of December. The ophthalmologist even stressed on how seriously damaged my eyes are and told me that “hopefully my retina doesn’t detach by then”. They just called me and told me they rescheduled my surgery for February 10th of next year. THIS PLACE SUCKS

They actually have GREAT doctors BUT the wait times are extremely too long! My appointment was for 2:30 pm, I didn’t leave out of there until 6:00 pm and mind you they close at 4:30 pm. They called me from the waiting room in the lobby, just to sit and wait in the waiting room in the back where there were people still waiting! There’s no way the wait should be that long. It seems like the over schedule and that’s what causes the conflict! You ask them when will you be seen after waiting so long and the answer is “ I don’t know”. You’re better off going to the Emergency Room to request and optometrist or ophthalmologist. Just because people are on medicaid or alot of places don’t take the insurance you have doesn’t mean they should be treated that way and their plans be ruined because they choose to over schedule. If tou have an appointment here, don’t make any plans that day because you won’t make them. Parkland Eye Clinic will make sure of that! They don’t sanitize the chairs in the eye examination rooms and I doubt they sanitize the ones in the waiting room.
