I recently had my annual eye exam at ParkRidge Vision Specialist, and it was a fantastic experience. Dr. Carolyn Smith provided exceptional care, demonstrating expertise and attentiveness throughout the examination. I also had the pleasure of interacting with Dan, the optometrist at ParkRidge Vision Specialist. His thorough explanations about my glasses were invaluable, providing me with a clear understanding of my prescription and eyewear needs. Dan's expertise and willingness to share knowledge enhanced my overall experience, making it even more commendable. Moreover, I was impressed with the efficiency of their services. My glasses order was processed swiftly, and to my surprise, it was delivered within a week. I appreciate the comprehensive care I received from both Dr. Carolyn and Dan at ParkRidge Vision Specialist and I highly recommend them for their excellent service.

Where to begin? Dr. Sancho’s first words to me were something along the lines of “Don’t you live super close by?” I replied “Oh, yes I do!” thinking this was the beginning of a friendly exchange, however she cut me off and proceeded to ridicule me on being late. “I don’t understand why you’re nearly 30 minutes late then. As a healthcare provider you should know the importance of being on time to medical appointments, had I needed to see any other patients I wouldn’t have been able to do your exam today.” No hi or hello, or introduction of herself or her role. It was a very unprofessional first impression to be met with, and unfortunately I probably won’t be coming back to buy any frames or lenses there solely for this reason. It sucks because I don’t think she was a bad optometrist, I could tell she was very knowledgeable and the exam very thorough. However, I’m not a fan of being treated like that by anyone, let alone my eye doctor of all people. Dr. Sancho, learn some proper manners and the importance of how first impressions can influence the patient-provider relationship.

One of my family members had a vision problem that two other doctors said they could not fix. I spoke to Jeff on the phone and we went in the next day. Long story short, Jeff was able to correct the vision issue no problem and through his expertises it was corrected with the first try. Denver is lucky to have such a talented doctor. Thank you Jeff.
