Dr. Evan Sundgren, DC

(Dr. Paul Meyer's practice is now located in the same building as Spectrum Optical on Archer Road.) Today I received a very professional and thorough eye exam from Dr. Paul Meyer, OD. He was also willing to accommodate my request for a slightly reduced prescription to help me in my intention to improve my vision through natural methods. His exam was efficient but also the most thorough that I remember receiving in a long time. The cost of the exam was $80. This seemed pretty reasonable, as it is about half the cost of exams at some other optometrist clinics in Gainesville. No pressure was placed on me to get any particular glasses or contacts. I learned that his practice is independent of Spectrum Optical, even though it is located within the same building. The young man, Matthew, that I initially spoke with on the phone to inquire about the eye exam services was also patient and helpful. Overall, my exam with Dr. Meyer and his practice was positive. I recommend his optometry services to others.
