This is a ZERO star review! I am not the writing reviews type, my experience was so poor I had to share. Got my glasses a bit more than 2 years ago (27 months ago) from "Pearle Vision Twelve Oaks Novi mall , MI". A few months later noticed the lenses started to show some coloring and peeling, making noticeable. At that time, I did not know what it, the problem was small and did nothing. The lens peeling and coloring and became progressively worst and now need another pair of glasses, these glasses are almost unusable. See pictures. When I visited my eye doctor he took one look and said the lenses are losing their protective coating and it is due to the poor lens making. I felt cheated, these were almost a 1K dollar glasses and expected them to last a bit more, maybe use as backups. On Monday 12/6/21 called Pearle Vision, no answer, left a message for a call back, no one called. Next day called again (12/7/21), talked to the store manager and from the start she was not willing to do anything, not even to see the problem (offered to come in). The manager kept saying that after one year, there is nothing that can be done. She blamed me scratching them, I explained it is a peeling issue, the coating is coming off. She said the lens maker was not going to do anything however would not provide any information on who made them or even her name. The manager was well trained on doing nothing for the customer, revealing no information and hang up the phone. My jaw dropped! Throughout the call I was polite and cordial. I was seeking a remedy, some understanding, accept responsibility, maybe for Pearle Vision to learn from it. A one-thousand-dollar glasses deserve to last a bit longer, I think. I have older pairs, less expensive, with the lenses in still very good condition and if not for outdated prescription lenses I would still use. Final thoughts, the store personnel can use a lot of training on "caring for the customer", listening and caring for to the customer is why you exist. On quality control, they could have used my case to learn from and send feedback to their lens maker supplier. If you have lens peeling causing coloring, do something within a year. Very disappointed with the whole experience and would not come back or anywhere nearby. I did submit an Pearle Vision corporate complaint, let's see what they do... I have low expectations.

I had my fist experience there and it was the best! The doctor was very professional and compassionate. The staff was very helpful and professional. I highly recommend this facility for your eye care needs. The receptionist had all my Vision benefits ready for me when I got there. I can’t say enough great words about this staff. Keep up the good work!
