NOT LGBT friendly. I went couple a couple of years and the last time I was there one of the ladies that worked in the front said some pretty awful things to me and made her opinions about other people well established. This occurred on around Jun 23, 2021. Also, I have had several instances where they messed up and charged me too much and one time, they even asked for additional money after the transaction. The actual eye doctor is only mildly friendly. The exams are quick and don't seem detailed. I won't be return.

I came in for my eye exam on Saturday, January 21st, 2023. I was a few minutes late but I called. I came in said hello and they spoke. I then selected my frames prior to the eye exam. I sat and waited for Dr. Figler. The Doctor was professional and very friendly. I sat down afterwards I was feeling light headed and then we completed the purchase. When I indicated that I would not get the contacts since the doctor determined that my prescription was the same for my contacts, the sales rep came across as having an attitude, they did not put the card in my hand, then not only that I split the purchase up to pay half and I paid half. Last week I received a call that the glass were ready last week. I came in on Saturday around 3 ish. When I got in the sales representatives weren't very friendly. They were helping other people but they could've still greeted me. I finally got taken care of I paid for the frames and then I asked for my insurance information which other locations have provided me before, I was told that I couldn't get it, and I was able to get into my account and found it, and I sat down cause again I was lightheaded. The staff was very rude to me after I had paid my hard earned money. It was like they wanted to rush me out. They didn't act this way towards the white individuals but they did towards me a black female. Mind you I am professional and polite. They asked me about doing this other test soon. I will return to the Wheaton Area where I was treated nice. I am also thinking about writing the company about how they treat black people. Idc if the sales team were people of color they still were not for black people. I worked in customer service for a while and wouldn't ever treat someone the way they did. I have two degrees and never would have acted in such manner. I think they need training on culture sensitivity.

Ordered glasses online and wasn't very happy with the results. They did try to correct it, but still not right. Was annoyed and saw Pearl Vision while running errands and decided to go in. From the minute I walked in I was immediately greeted. I unfortunately cannot remember the name of the technician who assisted me, but I can tell you she was great. She walked me through everything, let me try on 100 frames and waited patiently while I made a final decision. She even helped adjust my glasses I bought online to fit better. Recevied my glasses and they felt so right on my face and could see great! Next exam and glasses will be from Pearl Vision.
