The doctor was knowledgeable and helpful. But the appointment was over 2 hours long without any warning. I think they double book and don’t give patients fair warning about how long a routine office visit will take.

I took my 7 year old son here for his first appointment, he was nervous, but they were great, from reception all the way through the whole appointment to Ms. Janet at the optical shop, who was very patient with my son and helped pick the best glasses for his needs. He's new to wearing glasses and they made him and myself so comfortable with the shot whole process. Glasses were there the next day. Will definitely be staying at this office location for further needs.

I've been taking my Down Syndrome son to Dr. David Tien, for 28 years. Thank God! He is great with my son, and his twin sister with special needs her self. Dr. Tien has the patience, and kindness to deal with my son even when my son don't want to cooperate.

Dr. Langue gets to know each of his patients individually and takes the time to really make an assessment. The whole office does not make you feel like a number but like your concerns and child really matter

Our experience with this office was great…until it wasn’t. The front office staff was very friendly, everyone was patient and kind and the doctor was friendly. I happily recommended this office to everyone. That all changed following my daughter’s eye surgery. The day after surgery I noticed significantly more swelling in one vs the other and she was running a fever. I called and was concerned, I even noticed what seemed to be a bubble at the site of the surgery. I called and left a message for the doctor, who was on vacation, and while he did return my call promptly he dismissed my concerns as normal and didn’t seem at all worried. I kept being told the fever “wasn’t a fever” because it wasn’t high enough. However a low grade fever when rotating Tylenol and Motrin every 3 hours means that fever would be much higher if I withdrew the Tylenol and Motrin.
Over the next 10 days I called more than once and even brought my daughter in to see a different doctor while waiting for her surgeon to return from vacation. I was still told repeatedly everything was fine despite her having a large bubble in her eye, her being incredibly uncomfortable and miserable and her eye being extremely more swollen than the other. At one point the bubble popped and there was a lot of drainage before it filled up again. The whole time I was told this was normal.
When her doctor returned he immediately expressed concern over her eye, started her on oral antibiotics and called me daily over the weekend to check on her. She ended up needing a second surgery to remove the abscess from her eye. Immediately after surgery her pain was greatly reduced, confirming that her pain and swelling was in fact from the infection as I suspected it was.
My biggest complaint is the 10 days I spent being told repeatedly all of this was normal despite knowing it my gut it was not. My daughter was absolutely miserable and I was a nervous wreck for that 10 days and feeling dismissed repeatedly is not a good feeling. I do feel it was handled promptly once they admitted this was an infection but I do not think anyone took my concerns seriously immediately following the infection. When I wanted to hold the doctor I saw accountable they just kept saying now isn’t the time to point fingers but I do think there needs to be some responsibility taken for her not addressing the infection at that time.

I was highly impressed with the patience and gentle accommodations that were made for my daughter who exhibits sensory issues at 2.5 years old. They had no problem figuring out the best way to get all the medical info they needed from her, in the least invasive ways possible.

This place is run like a zoo. Staff has zero clue what they are doing. They knew my insurance information in advance and didn’t tell me they my son wasn’t covered. We spoke to staff THREE TIMES in advance of the appointment about my insurance referral, they had my insurance in advance, and they were given my insurance information again the same day, and collected a co payment. Then the office manager called me and told me that her front desk staff didn’t know what they are doing and they failed to tell me my insurance wasn’t accepted. She then basically told me I could pay or not and said she would “talk to her front desk staff” and offered zero solution. I asked to speak to the owner and she said “he’s away right now.”
Aside from that rude front desk staff, waited an hour in the waiting room with an infant. The waiting room was packed and patients had to stand up and wait because there were no seats. They were clearly very overbooked. Made me miss my next appointment and nobody called to tell me they were running late so that I could plan for the delay. Honestly one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a doctor’s office.
Also parking is not ideal and to check into the medical office you have to wait outside in the cold. There was a line all the way out of the door to check in. Something to keep in mind if you are bringing young children
Until they waive the bill that I should not be responsible for, I refuse to take down my negative review
