Dr. Beers and his staff (especially Georgina and Paul!) are incredibly professional, empathetic, and experienced. They patiently answered all of my questions before and after my PRK surgery, and the results of the surgery themselves are stunning. I couldn’t be happier with my experience, and I can’t recommend them enough!

I have used them for many years but had to move out of the area. I was with Dr. Volpecelli (great doctor) and when he moved, I was passed on to Dr. Liu (also a great doctor).
My only complaint is that they cannot handle loosing patients due to a move! Instead of helping me make my move easier, they pressured me in finding my own "new doctor" and did not provide me with enough medication to help in transition!!!!
The doctor and the staff get 5*; but the not being so understanding that life happens and you need to help with one's move gives them a 1* -- hence, a 2* overall. ;-)

I chose Peninsula for my LASIK procedure with Dr. Dan Beers. Dr. Beers is so experienced and meticulously plans each of his procedures to be customized per patient. I felt in super good hands throughout, and I ended up seeing 20/15 post op!! It’s one of the best decisions I’ve made in my life - thank you so much Dr. Beers!
In addition to all the excellent staff, I wanted to specifically shout out Georgina - she was so helpful throughout my experience and enthusiastically comforting. She’s one of the best!
