We are fortunate to have vision therapy offered so close to our home. The coordination between two eyes needed for reading is not understood by many. Eye therapy has helped my son read with greater ease as he’s not tiring so quickly or covering one eye that had trouble. We’ve seen improvement in reading, word searches, and other similar academic activities.

Vision training with noticeable improvement! We discovered my 15 year old's eyes did not work together which made reading incredibly tiresome and difficult. His eyes darted around a page, something I never knew was happening, but one optometrist thankfully caught it and told us glasses would not help him, we needed vision training. After a couple of months of sessions he picked up the longest book he has ever read and read it in 2 weeks! It used to take an entire semester for him to finish a book half this size. We have done audible for years because reading was so difficult. All of the sudden I had the kid who was being asked to put the book down. I only wish I had started this process sooner. Every child should be tested because if their eyes don't work together, no amount of tutoring is going to improve their comfort in reading.

We are so thankful that we found Visual Processing Institute! Dr. Kalie McMartin is so knowledgeable and personable. She makes you feel like you are an instantly a friend and there to help you to see better. My son has completed several therapy sessions with Ally and has seen continuous improvement fixing his Strabismus. He comes out of each session with a huge smile and is giddy with excitement that he is using both eyes to see! Thank you for what you do! Extremely grateful!
