unless he somewhat improved his skills while practicing on patients like my mother, avoid this "surgeon." my mom had to do a revision with him after he totally botched her first surgery. i wouldn't have trusted him to do the revision but i was away for school and my mom decided to do it because of insurance. now years later, her eyes have been suffering from dry eyes, etc. that started after this surgery. we are looking for a skilled doctor this time as i don't want her going through the same thing again. We saw one doc and he totally agrees that her eyes need an ectropion revision (lower lid sagging and inner lid exposure) secondary to wongs operations

I'm 3 weeks post-surgery and I am thrilled. I had upper bleph . It's normal to bruise a lot in the beginning but it's healing wonderfully and I'm thrilled.

Peter Wong, better known as Peter Ripoff. He is extremely unprofessional, high priced, never on time. I had an appointment with him do to upper back pain and I walked out of the office in more pain that I started with. Please beware, don't use him!

Yesterday I underwent a minor surgical procedure to remove a cyst from my eyelid, and I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Wong. As someone who struggles with significant anxiety around medical procedures, I was particularly apprehensive. However, Dr. Wong’s professionalism, expertise, and calming demeanor immediately put me at ease. He took the time to clearly explain the procedure, address my concerns, and ensure I was as comfortable as possible throughout. The surgery itself was quick and seamless, and I experienced no pain upon waking—something I had been quite nervous about. Remarkably, I remained pain-free the following day as well. Aside from minimal bruising, there is virtually no visible sign that I had surgery at all. Dr. Wong combines clinical excellence with genuine compassion for his patients. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone in need of similar care. If I could give more than five stars, I certainly would!!

Dr Peter Wong botched my aunt and her friend. Be careful if going to him. Ask to see his patients results. I would not allow him to fix an already botched surgery he did.

Dr. Wong is the most compassionate Doctor. He has done a couple of my Reconstruction surgeries. He always has the best bed side manners. There’s not enough stars for him. I’m truly lucky and grateful to have him as my doctor!

I saw Dr Peter Wong at Mercy Hosp OCLI Vision office on Nov 2023. He performed Bilateral eyelid surgery & eyelid lift on 1/8/24 at Island Eye Surgicenter in Westbury. I had droopy eyelids and had visual obstructions when reading and driving at night before my surgery. I now can see better and my eyelids are far better looking than before. Dr Peter Wong is an excellent doctor. I will surely recommend him. I also want to thank the staff at OCLI Vision at Mercy hosp and Island Surgicenter who are very friendly and professional. Dr. Peter Wong performed Entropion surgery on my left lower lid on April 8, 2024. Now, just three weeks later, my eye looks almost completely healed. It was an excellent experience and should my right eyelid get to the point of needing repair, I wouldn’t let anyone else do my surgery. I’m just a few days shy of my 86th birthday.

I was told by my Ocularist Andrew Gougelman to see Dr Peter Wong MD. I walk out feeling so optimistic that he will help me. He was extremely knowledgeable about my condition and explained in detail what he would like to do. He made me feel so important and like a human being. Can’t wait to see him again.
