Dr Dawn Phillips did not help me with my blepharitis and MGD. She offered no alternative solutions after initial conservative treatment was ineffective. She, with zero tact or empathy, told me my eyes would be inflamed for the rest of my life and there were no solutions. She did not offer to refer me to someone to remove the chalazions hardened in my eyelids (I figured this out on my own). I asked to waive the cost of my last visit since no solutions or advice were offered and I was still charged. I highly recommend you find a healthcare provider who is more solution oriented.

I have been a patient of Dr. Dawn Phillips for a number of years with numerous eye problems as well as surgery .. by far, I feel that I have received the most dynamic care. She provides this care with patients and a great bedside matter.. She takes the time to listen to your problems, Addresses them and always explain what she’s doing.. My physician is sensational. However, she employees a VERY rude desk staff in the Naperville office. No welcome, just demands. Especially concerning a demand before I could complete my exam a credit card to keep on file. Unusual for a physicians office. Have no confidence they can protect my card with the proper fire walls! I find their procedures unethical.

Dr. Dawn performed my cataract surgeries and has treated my eyes for many years. She gives excellent medical advice and is very professional.

Horrible Office, please stay away from this doctor's office. I have never had an issue with the doctor until I requested my medical records. I was told that they would not send records until I paid an outstanding balance which I did not know I had but I have always paid all my bills. I wish I could have given this office no stars. So disappointed

Though I have moved from Chicago in retirement, Dr. Phillips continues to be the best doctor I have ever had. She is considerably knowledgeable, friendly, kind, and compassionate. She went way out of her way to care for me when I had a serious eye issue due to a preexisting condition, and now because of her, I have perfect vision. Where I live now, I cannot find a single doctor that has her skills. I consider Dr. Phillips the gold standard in medical care.

Dr dawn and her entire office has treated me with dignity and respect. I feel she takes the best care of me and my wife for over five years and always looks out for my best interest.she is honest and truly extremely knowledgeable in her field. I recommend her to anyone needing professional eye care. She’s the best.

Didn’t even get past the receptionist! Left a message for an appointment after my mother was referred by her primary care for cataracts. No one called back. Tried again today, spoke to a young woman , explained the situation and she asked what kind of insurance my mother had, I provided it, she put me on hold, came back and said they need the referral faxed over. Had the primary care doctor fax it over, called back spoke to an older woman, went through the whole spiel and she asked what kind of insurance my mother had. As I was saying the name of the insurance she interrupted and said we don’t take that insurance. I explained I just called and the young women I spoke to said they needed the referral. She responded with “I don’t know who you talked to, but I’m telling you we don’t need a referral because we don’t take the insurance”. Beyond rude and condescending! It’s understandable that providers don’t accept every insurance, however, you can be respectful and compassionate when you inform the patient!

I highly recommend Phillips Eye Care! Dr. Dawn Phillips is very knowledgeable, patient focused, thoughtful and caring!

Great doc!!! Spent a lot of time with me, answered all of my questions with detailed answers. most docs are in and out and you end up spending more time with their assistant. Dr. Phillips took his time and made me feel a lot more confident with my condition. if you already have a ophthalmologist I will still consider giving Dr. Phillips a try.

I have been seeing Dr Phillips for years and have been more than pleased with the service I have received and her medical guidance. She is an outstanding doctor.

Today was my first encounter with Dr. Dawn. She and her staff were so kind and courteous. Dr. Phillips was so knowledgeable of my conditions and approached them with common sense, conservatively. She was kind, compassionate and took her time with me. All my questions were answered and all on going treatments were discussed. I highly recommend her as it's hard to find doctors like her anymore.
