I recently got pieces of ceiling tile in my eye during an home project and called the clinic at the end of the day (regular office hours). I could not keep my eye open. They called Dr. Brown who was on-call and she came from home and met me at the office 30 minutes later to remove it. I also scheduled a followup appointment with my regular ophthalmologist Dr. Hassan two days later. He confirmed no infection had developed and everything was OK. Thank you very much to all their staff! I would not have gotten this kind of specialized service in the emergency room. I highly recommended Physicians Eye Clinic of West Des Moines.

Dr. Hassan is wonderful! He’s extremely kind, makes you feel at ease, and always answers any questions I may have. I first met him on a Saturday when I was diagnosed with shingles, which was on my eyelid, and urgent care clinic felt it necessary for an Opthamologist to see me that day. He came to his clinic just to see me and was so kind and gracious even though I interrupted his weekend. He is the BEST!

Didn't wait long after arriving for my appointment. Dr. Hassan and his staff were very nice, patiently listened to my questions and answered them all. I did not feel rushed in any way and felt they were very thorough. I'm new to the Des Moines area and he came highly recommended and trained at The Mayo Clinic. Great credentials and very personable. Would definitely recommend if you need a new eye Dr.
