I was referred to come to Pittsburgh Eye Institue from our PCP. I made an appt for 10:30AM. I showed up approx. 10 minutes past 10:30. Jessica told me that my appointment was scheduled for 10:15.. I personally called and scheduled my appointment, it was for 10:30AM. She told me that I would have to reschedule because I missed my 15-minute window. I can understand if someone accidentally scheduled us for 10:15 in their system but told me 10:30 over the phone, accidents happen. I tried explaining to Jessica that I promise my appt was scheduled for 10:30. Jessica got extremely snippy with me and demanded that I show proof. The moment she said it, she realized how out of line she was. I understand some customers that come in may be rude or make up appointments, but I was nothing short of kind while dealing with her. There was clearly a mix up on times and a lack of communication. Regardless, how Jessica handled the situation was nothing short of rude and unprofessional. If she behaved that way with a customer that was calm and collected. I'd hate to see how she acts toward an actual difficult customer.

Everyone is really nice. On time with appointments. The only disappointment is the glasses I purchased. One side is more aligned to my face. The other side is bowed out. Don’t fit my face, have to keep moving them. After reading reviews and people with glasses issues, I’m not sure I want to bring up my issues. The doctors take their time with you.

,the optical department pricing is ridiculously high and the wait time to receive your glasses exceeds 3 weeks, We also had an issue with the front desk, they had me scheduled for a completely different exam than i requested and they had my husband down for a diabetic exam and he isn't even diabetic! The receptionists argued with me about this for over 10 minutes before correcting the error
