Dr. Prestera has been our family doctor for several years. He is a great doctor. He is very knowledgeable and is very kind. He cares so much about his patients and makes every effort to make them feel comfortable. He is always able to answer our questions and ease our concerns. I highly recommend him and his services.

I had cataract surgery 3 years ago, not here but only because my insurance changed. I had an irritation in my eye that was operated on, so I made an appointment. My appointment was at 1:30 and they took me at 1:30. What? The office staff was extremely friendly, the office is very clean and nice. I filled out my paperwork and I was brought in immediately. I had my eye test, I was dilated so the ophthalmologist could examine my eyes. I opted for both because why not. Anyhow, he saw what was irritating my left eye which is where I had the surgery, there was a small stitch that was still left in my eye from 3 years ago. He was able to remove it after applying some numbing eye drops. Very nice very friendly. I had Dr Prestera. So glad I found a great eye doctor and if I ever have to have surgery in my other eye I know where to go. Definitely five stars. Very professional, great experience. My husband is going to schedule an eye exam here as well. There's plenty of parking, easy access in and out. Photo of me dilated for laughs lol.

Dr. Cockerham is an amazing eye doctor. She’s very knowledgeable, even more so than other neuro ophthalmologists we’ve gone to. She’s fast but is also very welcoming. And her office moves quickly, which is very nice! Being stuck in a waiting room can be really terrible. I highly suggest going to this practice!

I had cataract surgery on the first eye ten days ago and a follow-up appointment today. My progress is going very well. No discomfort, no surprises, just absolutely a wonderful new experience to see so much better. In two months, I will be back for surgery on the other eye. I highly recommend Dr Prestera. You will be in good hands.

I’m not here to share my whole story that left me without vision in one eye after Prestera Eye Group botched a cataract procedure. All I will say is that if you value your eyes as much as I do, you will look elsewhere for treatment. One of the most horrifying experiences followed by massive expense at a specialist to attempt to reverse the damage. Prestera Eye group dealt with this by sending me a letter saying they were no longer my eye Dr. This felt very 3rd world country scenario… Now nearly eighteen months later there is further deterioration to my vision in that eye and future procedures have to be considered.
