If I would have reviewed this office 2 years ago, it would have been a one star experience. I’m thankful that I gave it another try and requested Dr. Kittle who comes highly recommended and rightfully so. From start to finish (picking up glasses) it was a great experience.

I saw Roger Hill for my annual eye exam and ordered new glasses with my new prescription. After a few days passed and I noticed my vision just wasn’t adjusting to my new glasses and I was getting severe headaches, I decided to look at my previous prescription and noticed it was significantly higher. I made a new appointment and was told numbers were completely off which is why my vision wasn’t adjusting. I had to get a new eye exam and order new lenses. This whole process took over a month to resolve since I still had to wait a few weeks to be seen by a new optometrist despite it not being my fault and urgently needing a new prescription. At first, they were even requesting I pay for a new exam. Staff could have provided better customer service. Not only was this a very careless mistake on Dr. Hill’s behalf, but everything afterwards should have been handled differently too.

I’ve left a review before, but Dr. Kittle and his are nothing short of professional, understanding, and knowledgeable. After today, I just had to put in another review because of my satisfaction with not only Dr. Kittle, but the staff as well. They were able to assist me with a contact order that I had put through and were very understanding of my financial situation. The staff worked posthaste to resolve the situation, and my worries were taken care of. I recommend this business to anybody looking for an Optometrist in the Rockford area. Dr. Kittle is a very intelligent and resourceful medical professional. He also makes for great conversation. He knows just who to talk to about any area of specialization, and has references on the back of his hand. Five stars all around, you guys are awesome.
