Interesting place. Insurance covers annual exam yet they charge you $39 for retinal imaging. They say it’s because they don’t use dilation eye drops and you need it as part of the exam. Turns out they must do this because all the doctors are virtual and this is a way they can see your eyes… I wasn’t even warned when booking the appointment that your doctor will be joining via video call. I will not be going back for next years annual appointment.

Richard is the best — he made my appointments for getting glasses and contacts very pleasant and he was great at explaining everything and answering my questions. Had a solid experience overall! Updating my review! I don’t recommend this place. After an appointment, it’s nearly impossible to get in touch with anyone who knows what is going on. Doctor gave me the wrong contact prescription, fixed only after I called and noticed it and the person I spoke to never apologized. Basically, the woman in the call center made it sound like it was MY problem they gave ME the wrong prescription. You also won’t get your PD with your glasses prescription, which you need to order glasses, and can only get it if you pay $75 or buy glasses from them. This isn’t uncommon but it feels shady. Also, all of the doctors are virtual and meet with you on a computer screen. There is almost no way to get in touch with the actual storefront or doctors because all the calls go to a call center where they don’t seem to know what’s going on. I stand by my kind words toward Rich — they did one thing right when they hired him — but I will not be coming back here or to any Provision.

I had a great and professional visit. Went for an eye exam and contact lenses exam without any issues. The staff, Richard and Dr. Shwartz, are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The negative reviews are certainly overblown.
