I visited Dr Patel in October/November 2022... I started having vision issues where both eyes were starting to get more blurry on a weekly basis, September 2022. I visited my optometrist and they said my prescription hasn't changed and referred me to Dr Patel. During my visit with Dr Patel, he stated I needed cataract surgery to rule it out... that didn't sit well with me. I asked for my optometrist to refer me to a different opthomologist. That opthomologist did their tests and said there was nothing they could do... and while I have very minor cataracts, they're in no state to requie replacement surgery at this time. I then went to see my GP to refer me to a neurologist. An MRI was performed where a brain tumor was found that was pushing up against my optic nerve. The tumor has been surgically removed and my vision is back to normal. I wanted to wait to write this review till after the surgery and to confirm that was the issue. I can again confirm the tumor was the issue and not cataracts. Dr Patel and his staff was too eager to perform the surgery and make their money then worry about the patients true status and wellbeing.

I was seen quickly and treated very kindly and professionally. The assistant explained what she was doing every step of the way. Dr. Patel is spends as much time with you as you need and also explained his findings and recommendations thoroughly. Highly recommend!
