I have been seeing Dr.Daniel Gealy for two years or more. He has been a God send so to speak. My vision in my right eye has cleared tremendously and we are doing preventive on the left eye also and all is good. He is very thorough and explains everything. I was referred by another great Eye Clinic “Hollinghead” Staff is great too.

I see Dr Roberts, and you can’t go wrong with him!! He is the best doctor of any kind I have ever had, both in personality and skill. I believe he saved the sight of my left eye, because I had lost all vision in it when I had walked in the door of Retina Specialist of Idaho.

This office may be okay if you have a long-term problem that doesn't require emergency care. However they have had two opportunities to try to save my sight and have declined to provide emergency care both times. On October 6th I was diagnosed with a retinal detachment. Despite the fact that all rental specialists claim that this is an emergency requiring immediate care they declined to see me until the following Monday by which point it was already in the macula. They can give me no prognosis on whether or not I will regain my sight and so far there has been no improvement. On October 11th the day following the surgery I had a retinal hemorrhage. The paperwork I was given after the surgery identifies this as an emergency requiring that you call your provider immediately. The on-call provider once again refused to provide emergency care. Now I'm stuck in some asinine catch 22 situation. I've had four retinal bleeds but they can't be diagnosed because my eye is full of blood. My eye is full of blood because I have had four untreated retinal bleeds. I'm in a no win situation.
