Excellent visit. I was scheduled for a JAG visit. The medical assistant was thorough. Dr. Fichman was attentive, friendly and he diagnosed the issue quickly. I feel confident about going back in October for the procedure he explained to me. All the staff was competent other than the 2nd floor receptionist who had me stand at the check in window for 12 minutes while I watched her continue to type. She said “I’ll be with you when I’m ready”. Finally another staff member walked in and she was suddenly ready. Minus the check in it was a very good overall experience.

Dr Fichman cleared up all my questions as I had been concerned regarding previous scheduling for surgery. I have a hearing loss and struggle in many situations. Dr. Fichman was understanding and increased the volume of his voice which many people only repeat in the same tone. This matters in a clinical setting where communication is necessary. I have complete trust in him for my upcoming surgery.

He took his time with me answering any questions I had. His professional and friendly manner immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease that I had made the right decision to have surgery and he is to be performing it.
