Dr. Buchanan is the best! My kids and I have seen him for over 5 years. He is very thorough and great with kids. He has been extremely patient with my child with ADHD since he was old enough to see an optometrist. I couldn’t ask for a better optometrist!

I went in without an appointment to ensure the VA script was the same as the doctor’s script. It was after basically another eye exam. The VA no longer gives vouchers to veterans, instead you choose from a limited selection of frames especially chosen for veterans. They are not the classiest in the world. This office took care of me in a civilized manner and made me feel respected.

The doctor was kind but not personal and bedside could be a little more interactive with kids. No sense of humor. After, the staff just handed us a prescription and didn’t even attempt to help my child find a pair of glasses that fit him. We have been doing this for years and the staff are usually very helpful and want you to leave with glasses ordered. Nope they were just like “you can go online and get what ever you want”. I left spending $660 on a pair of lens and prescription for a 12 year old because I had no idea what I was doing. First time during exam where my kid didn’t get dilation. Unfortunately, I will have to find a better place for myself and rest of the family when it’s our turn. Overall they were nice, super quick, but not helpful and very expensive.
