I’ve been coming here for almost 10 years and still go back for my prescription and contacts even after switching eye doctors. Customer service is amazing. Jasmine and Elizabeth are always so kind, attentive, and welcoming. It’s really nice seeing the same familiar faces even after all these years while still receiving the same great service and affordable prices. They also taught me how to properly use and care for my contacts, which I really appreciated. I only come here for my prescription and contacts, so I can’t speak to the eye doctor’s services. My orders always arrive earlier than expected, and they’ve also given me discounts and extra contacts over time. Highly recommend!

I have been wearing glasses for over 20 years and have visited many optical stores, but Right Vision Optical stands out as the best. While it may not be the fanciest place, the quality of service truly speaks for itself. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. The doctor conducted a thorough eye exam and recommended the perfect options for me. Additionally, their turnaround time was impressively quick. I highly recommend Right Vision Optical for anyone in need of quality eyewear and excellent service.

This place came highly recommended to my grandmother from other family members and friends. She walked forth in peace had her eye exam done, ordered her glasses with them as well mid January 2025 and patiently waited. And waited, and waited, and waited… towards the middle of February she was accompanied by my uncle (roughly a month later), and to their shock disturbingly, the order was never placed yet they definitely made sure to bill her insurance for it. This was the day the runaround started… the manager said it was her employees fault, she went back another month later now March and the employee blamed the manager. It was embarrassing and disappointing to say the least. Now April, surprise surprise they can not find anything for her YET AGAIN… The manager insisted she would make sure she got them, she did not apologize once. Then mentioned she would call my dear old grandmother when they arrived so she could finally retrieve them. Three weeks later STILL no call… So we went today April 26th from April 5th and apparently they were miraculously finally in the store. When I asked for a simple screw for my glasses the manager had the audacity to want to charge me $10 “because it takes time to find a screw to fit”, when by New York State law eyeglasses medically prescribed are exempt from NYS tax and warrant no charge. Nose pads on the contrary are chargeable by NYS law and not exempt. The doctor stood nearby listening and ran off in the midst of this whole conversation. My entire family will no longer be going to this establishment. Fortunately god gifted me with a very big family. Who knew the elderly are exempt of kindness and respect. And standard decency an inconvenience to charged. Clearly they have too much to handle, and not enough wit. Coming from the eye industry myself, working in Queens & in Manhattan with experience of over 7 years I would of never treated a patient like how my grandmother was treated, and not even a potential customer like myself asking for a screw. I expected better, but apparently that was too much to ask for. I would highly recommend going to ‘Richmond Hill Family Vision’ they’re much more human and worth while. May Jesus rebuke ALL the evils and wrong doings happening in this establishment IF there are any, may he no longer permit this kind of behavior untoward any more elderly people and people in general. May everyone working in this establishment turn into an honest, empathetic human being. In Jesus name I pray over everyone in this establishment, and everyone who reads this Amen.

My experience is always a pleasure! I like to order my frames separately and come here for my exams. They are very patient and informative. Elizabeth (front desk) always helps me and always stays ontop when my frames are ready! My frames are always ready 2-3 weeks! It's fast! Any issues they are always there to help and assist as much as they can. I been coming here for years and i always leave happy. Thank you. I highly recommend this eye place. I be in and out fast but not rushed. I love the female dr that is there. She takes her time examining and makes sure you are comfortable in the process.

What would have been a 5 star review before has changed dramatically this year (mid 2025/ to present). My family and I used to go all the time and refer people too. Bad optometrist and change in where they send the to get the lens made from. In mid 2025 when I went to get my eyes checked, the doctor increased my prescription dramatically even stating that he was adjusting my astigmatism by increasing the prescription strength. My eye sight has been the same since 2021. Due to this change I got new glasses AND for sunglasses I had with my old prescription. When I got everything back, i felt that the prescription was too strong. They re-examined me with another doctor who stated my eye sight was closer to the prescription of 2021. No longer trusting them, I asked them to adjust them back to my original prescription. They said they would. I got them back and they still felt off. They said it would be minimal but would correct their error. The third and final time i picked them up I still didn’t feel a change except that the legs of the glasses were moved to shift to one side of my face. They would not offer to refund me not even the glasses that I re did due to the optometrist failures. They even made a comment of i have many glasses. That shouldn’t matter, I only paid for a service because I was told my eye sight changed, they didn’t I wouldn’t have wasted my money and the amount of glasses I have shouldn’t be of concern. In fact now the Four glasses (which are the only ones i had, two glasses and two sunglasses, are not made with my prescription. I wouldn’t have wasted money if they wouldn’t have claimed my prescription changed. And laughing it off saying I have many glasses should not be best practice for them. I went to my previous optometrist location even though it was in a different area code and they confirmed that all of my glasses did not match my prescription.

Everyone here was very nice! I was able to take my glasses home the same day with just a short wait. I would definitely recommend!

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience here today. I had a scheduled appointment at 11:20 AM, which they required me to make. I arrived on time, filled out their form, and handed over my insurance card and ID. The receptionist had my card in front of her the entire time — clearly visible — and could have easily checked it. Instead, she let me sit for over 30 minutes before finally telling me that the doctor doesn’t participate with my insurance. Only after wasting my time did she ask whether I was coming in for glasses or contacts and then informed me I’d need to pay $85 out of pocket for an exam. What frustrates me most is that they knew upfront my insurance wasn’t accepted, but still let me sit there instead of telling me immediately. That is unprofessional and shows a complete lack of respect for people’s time. If you value clear communication and honesty, I would not recommend this place. WASTE OF MY TIME !

I had a wonderful experience! The receptionists provided exceptional customer service from the moment we walked in. They took the time to make the kids feel comfortable, spoke to them with kindness, and handled everything with patience and a smile. I went in there last week to fix a screw on my glasses. I can honestly say I received the best customer service from Umair. In addition to fixing my glasses he shared knowledge about different lens. I highly recommend this place based on the service I received and I will be going back for my eye wear needs.

I had such a great experience. Today was my first time getting contacts and I felt a bit anxious about it but the doctor was great. The receptionist (forgot to ask her name) trained me on how to put on the contacts and how to remove them. She was insanely patient and sweet! Literally made the experience so much easier. I will be definitely going back in the future.

Had such a good experience. The workers were friendly and helpful. I ended up picking a pair of glasses that the worker picked out for me after she suggested a bunch of pairs within my budget that she thought I would like. I would highly recommend them to anyone. They even put a super rush to get my glasses done in a few days instead of two weeks since mine broke and I couldnt see. The eye doctor was knowledgeable and let me know my previous prescription that I got at a different place was too strong for my eyes. They also speak english and spanish! I recommended them to my mom and she just went today to get an eye exam and new glasses.

Although prices were a bit high, front person Elizabeth was very sweet, kind and helpful in explaining the process of creating our glasses, payment and technicality. Excellent customer service, variety of frame types to choose from, decent quality, would come again for the foreseeable future (pun intended)

The eye exams are very thorough and the staff is very helpful when it comes to picking the right frames, the exam is free which plus. when it comes to style and affordability the shop has it all. Thank you jasmine and Elizabeth for helping my Dad out choosing the right frames for him and our budget.

This place is one of the best optical in NYC!! Aquilles one of the workers in the shop he was so professional and kind when he came to me, he help me to fix my broken glasses I thought it was going to be impossible to fix them but he found the best way to do it, not only that, because my birthday was the next day coming up he give me a special discount, I couldn’t be more satisfied than that, im very happy to meet Aquilles.

Overall, My experience was pleasant. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient. The one issue that was annoying is that patients use their cell phones loudly and are inconsiderate that they are in a small office. My suggestion is that employees be assertive in asking patients to use their cell phones in a manner that does not disrupt business or intrude on other's comfort level. This is a professional office and should be conducted in that matter.

My son and I have been going to this place for a few good years and I’ve recently taken my parents also. Jasmine has been attending to our needs each time and the service is always excellent. The entire staff is excellent and has the best customer service and interaction with people. I have gone other places and most times, your are treated differently depending on your insurance but no matter what insurance you have, this place treats you like a human being. 100% recommended!
