Very good staff and doctors, but sometimes appointments can be a bit difficult because they are so popular.

Staff was great. I went back about a week later with a question about my script and insurance. Staff was more than cordial and helpful. My tech saw me and came out to explain a couple things about my exam, too! Fantastic. Would highly recommend.

The staff was great and I appreciated getting in so quickly but when I left I wasn't told what my eye site was or if I needed glasses I had to call back to get this information apparently I now need glasses. Would have been nice for the Dr to tell me this so I didn't have to call back. Dr needs to practice on his people skills

The front desk person who checked me in was very cold and distant. Not very welcoming or friendly at all!! Jackie the tech that took me back was excellent. She made the visit very enjoyable!!

I’ll start by saying that I was there as support for my 86 yo Dad not myself so I was able to observe quite clearly. Second, I believe that knowledge is paramount but friendliness matters a lot to me. In order of operations: one should know that the parking at the Sandalwood location is not great. It’s mostly street parking so there is a bit of walking depending. I saw 2 cars going the wrong way through it as well and it’s pretty tight so be aware. At the front desk, we were greeted by Mike- he was very friendly and welcoming- just what you need at the front desk. Thank you, Mike! Waiting room is spacious and comfortable so nice place to wait. It was there I had interaction with a tech, Regina. Regina was dilating a patients eyes in the waiting room- which was odd to me but ok. Regina couldn’t muster a smile but also ok. Not our tech. We were called back by our tech whose name I do not know as she wasn’t wearing a name tag. She was not very friendly at all. Seemed competent in her work but didn’t seem to be a very friendly person which is a shame. They should remember that people don’t want to be there- and a little friendliness goes a long way. Next we met Dr James Burden. Now THIS GUY was all your want- super friendly, super knowledgable and really helped put us at ease as far as what to expect. Thanks Doc! Can’t wait for March! And then our surgery scheduler, Selena, was great as well- friendly, organized, informative. Great interaction to end the visit. 4 stars and not 5 because the techs there have some work to do on how they interact with their patients IMO. Crack a smile, don’t look bothered and at least act like you enjoy your job. That helps the customer feel like they made the right decision. But truly 5 stars for Mike, Dr Burden and Selena. Good start. Hoping that surgery and after continue the goodness. We shall see. Literally.

I appreciated being seen quickly. The lady that did all of the preliminary testing was great! The doctor came in and did her thing quickly as well and I was out the door. The only negative for me was driving to Pueblo from Trinidad as only people 55 and over are seen there. This drawback for me will end after May1, 2028.
