Ronald R. Krueger, MD, MSE is the McGaw Professor and Chair of the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Director of the Stanley M. Truhlsen Eye Institute in Omaha. He provides clinical care through Nebraska Medicine in keratoconus, cataract and refractive surgery.

Dr. Krueger earned his medical degree from UMDNJ-Rutgers Medical School in 1987 and completed an ophthalmology residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center, plus two fellowships in cornea and refractive surgery. He spent 20 years at the Cleveland Clinic Cole Eye Institute before joining UNMC in 2019.
