I'll start by stating that the doctor I saw was great in the circumstance of an emergency and very thorough!! I was incredibly grateful to be seen and taken care of in the same day. I had to wait for 3.5 hours, but the resident clearly communicated this for my first appointment as they were not able to be so accommodating with appointment times.. Aside from that, YOU WILL WAIT. If you have the time to sit for hours for a quick recheck, then bringing your business here is the move. I had to leave and reschedule my second recheck appointment as the doctor was running over 1.5 hours behind and I had to get to work.
Fast forward two weeks, I made sure to get his first appointment of the day at 7:50am, under the impression I would not be waiting an astronomical amount of time. I completely understand running behind due to emergencies, but I was THE FIRST APPOINTMENT of the day for a quick recheck and sat for over an hour waiting to be seen by the doctor! I was informed that he was not even in the office yet! 🤯 There is 1- a terrible method to seeing patients in this practice and 2- the doctor has ZERO respect for anyone else's time 🤷🏻♀️. He also kept trying to push surgery to correct my vision, which I am uninterest in having. Upon checkout I also realized he saw his second patient before me. I would highly recommend this place ONLY in the circumstance of an emergency, and even then clear your daily schedule and be prepared to wait.

Not too much of a wait past the scheduled time. Appointment was less then an hour of my time.
Edit: 5 ⭐ to 3 ⭐
At the time of appointment the Doctor commented that my lenses should have been made with a medical grade tint to minimize "starburst" coming off the lights of vehicles, traffic and street lights. She explained it was in my last prescription and I told her that the 2 places that filled the script never mentioned it. (EVO on Elmwood and Vision Works on George Urban)!
I tried to get the doctor that saw me on the phone but the person that answered ran interference and said she would connect me to the place that fills the actual scripts.
Turns out because my script expired the only way to get a new script is to go back to Ross Eye & agree to the refraction test $30 that they can write a new one!
And it still wouldn't matter because no one seems to know where to get this medical time... outside of - you guessed it - Ross Eye!
Aaaand You have to travel to Orchard Park location!
I checked with my insurance and they cover it because it's medically necessary. But none of these two places even mentioned that they do not tint lenses.
Money grabs all the way around!

When I got there at the Ross institute, I was called and less than 10 minutes to be waited on. Everyone was extremely nice, especially the doctor that I saw. I would recommend the center to anyone and I have to some already
