As a family, we have been coming to Dr. Rothlisberger for ten years. This experience is unrelated to his care which has been exceptional. The front office staff unfortunately does not reflect the care given by the doctor. They are demeaning, short and unprofessional. There is a large gap between the high level care given by the doctor and how poorly the staff speaks to patients. They are quick to disregard your needs and dismiss you. The lack of professionalism is surprising after years and sadly, we won’t be returning for this reason.

This is specific to the glasses part of the office, not the exam. Twice in a week we heard the same thing after signing in and waiting; “You snuck in on me. I didn’t see you there.” No, no, we didn’t. We walked in, signed your notebook, and sat down. If that doesn’t work for you to let you know when you have customers, maybe you should adjust your process! Heck, put a light in and have customers turn it on to notify you, get your attention.
