I had LASIK done in 2010. The first few months were really good. Then my eyesight deteriorated. I went back in and they told me it was just dry eye. Tried drops for a week, no change. Then he started talking about an experimental treatment that wasn't covered by insurance. Didn't have the money for that. Fast forward to today, I have to wear scleral lenses which are expensive. My sight is deteriorating to the point where I can no longer be corrected.

I came in as a new patient, checked in, first impression was everyone was very unfriendly and unprofessional. Taken to an exam room, ask questions that were already on the form I filled out, drops put in my eyes and left in the room. I waited over one hour and was never checked on nor given any update. I was never seen by a Doctor nor did I see anyone in the building who looked like a Doctor. I walked to the front desk, advised I was leaving and requested a refund of my co-pay. My safety and well being were never a concern of anyone in this office.

The the front desk is much lacking. I have had two unpleasant experiences with the receptionist area. When I arrived for my appointment, the receptionist was on her cell phone and acted as if I was an inconvenience to her. She was not friendly in her tone or demeanor all through my interaction(s) with her. I then later called to confirm an appointment and, again, the receptionist was curt and rude in her responses and also had an attitude. This is a renowned clinic with well known doctors and nurses yet it is completely failing in training the first line of contact. You can do better with your front staff.
