The optometrist was condescending when answering questions. When I asked for her to simplify things because her technical terminology was not making any sense, she was clearly annoyed but still did not know how to explain things more simply and continued to complicate things with medical terminology. I feel like the exam was over complicated and unnecessarily stressful. People want to understand the numbers you are throwing out, especially since we are being given options between glasses/contacts and can not make an informed decision when we dont completely understand the information being given. I would highly suggest learning how to communicate the information you are trying to give people in a way that even a 5 year old can explain. We get you went to school and are educated... there is no need to overcompensate by talking above your patients level of comprehension.

I went there because I had blurry and double vision on my left eye and a watery right eye. The irritation was bad. I assumed I had dry eye disease. The doctor and the lady at front desk were outstanding and kind. They did every test available and gave me peace of mind. Nothing was found. Dry eye seems like the problem. It was so bad, I did not complete the eye test for new glasses. Now I became aware that my eye problems are because of allergies. I plan to go back and finish my eye sight test. I recommend this place.

Great customer service. Kudos to the young lady doing desk duty and pre-exams. She is very busy but always willing to take time to help. Professional thorough exam and explanation of what is happening with my eyes. Also identified a potential issue and provided a referral to an ophthalmologist. I’ve been going to Dr. Robles for many years and would definitely recommend this office.
