I just completed my first of three RF treatments for dry eyes at SALT Optometry in Newport Beach. The place is beautiful with a great selection of SALT glasses and other brands. Even better was all the staff there. Jessica is so great and goes out of her way to make you feel welcome. There truly is a chill, friendly but highly professional vibe there. I saw Dr. Semino for my procedure. She was super friendly, thorough and informative. I’m excited to complete the three procedures, they are actually very relaxing, and get some relief from my dry eyes, and hopefully stimulate some nice collagen at the same time! I don’t live too close to Newport but it’s worth the drive!

We called in on Saturday with last minute appointment request and Dr Semino has accommodated us without a problem. She is extremely caring, supportive and knowledgeable in her field. She took time and care to address all the questions we had as our situation is more complicated. She also went above and beyond to refer us to the right specialist. Highly recommend her! Ryan (front desk) is also very nice and accommodating

An avid Salt “wearer” who babied every pair until my “favs” ended up in the wash - surviving (possibly even thriving) my Maytag spin cycle. Couldn’t believe it - the strength of the lens, unsurpassed - now they’re just thrown in my clear plastic RAMS bag with the lip gloss, credit card and ID. The things are worth every penny!!! Have always purchased my Salts online. This time I went into their Lido Island store in Newport Beach - the benefit, obvious - tried on every pair, the store beautiful, the staff super nice, super helpful, resourceful with an honest opinion. The time they spent with clients was impressive. I was there for a radio frequency “dry eye” treatment. Dr. Kara was knowledgeable with a bedside manner that was authentic and kind. The entire time, my comfort and understanding of what was happening, then about to happen, was crystal clear - thanks, Dr. Kara!! The treatment, using heat and pressure was 100% pain free. I found both (heat and pressure) relaxing and massage-like. The treatment I’m told, also has the added benefit of being collagen-stimulating,firming and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles around and above the - awesome - love killing two birds with one stone! Happily back in 2 weeks for treatment #2 of 3.
