I have never been there. I do not recommend it. A friend bought a pair of gold plated frames. They were not adjusted and turned GREEN a few months later!

I am very happy with my glasses. As a Plus member, I saved 20% off my total, which was fantastic.

I had a terrible experience with Sam’s optical department. I purchased new frames and lenses at a Sam’s in Arizona, and then less than four months later, the frames split apart while I was visiting Alabama. I immediately went to the local Sam’s club to see what could be done, and I was told that they would order replacement frames since mine were defective and they did not have my frames in stock. The replacement frames were supposed to arrive within 5-9 business days. I waited the requisite time and then I called to see if they arrived, and it turns out the frames hadn’t even been ordered, and so I was told to wait another two weeks. Again, I waited and then went by the store at the end of the 2 weeks—still no frames. The optical associate kept promising that she’d call the warehouse and then call me, but she never did. The store manager even promised to get the situation resolved, but she ultimately did nothing. It took more than a month before the replacement frames arrived—and the whole time I couldn’t wear my glasses, which I have to have in order to see—and the optical department never even called me to let me know they were finally in. The day before I had to go out of state, I went to Sam’s to talk to the manager about how disgusted I was that they sold me a defective product and were unable to order a replacement and keep me informed in a timely and professional manner. It turns out that my new frames just “happened” to be there that day. The customer service was terrible, the updates from the warehouse were unreliable—overall a frustrating experience. I won’t buy glasses from Sam’s again, and I hope none of you do either. The minuscule amount of money you might save is not worth it.
