I required ptosis surgery to correct for a droopy eyelid that was beginning to interfere with my vision in one eye. Dr. Iyengar and the staff at San Diego Eyelid specialists handled everything beautifully--from initial consultation and evaluation, through a second consultation, through surgery which was quick and expertly executed, and through post-operative followups. The procedure required an incision (and temporary sutures) on the inside of my eyelid, which proved a little cumbersome, but the advantage of this method is that it leaves no scar on the outside of the lid. Dr. Iyengar, and his staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The doctor is very efficient. The surgery center is also efficient and has competent staff. I had an upper and lower blepharoplasty. My goals for the procedures were to improve the function of my eyelids and eyelashes as well as expand my visual field. I had a subtle but definite improvement in appearance, with a remarkable improvement in function and I got more of an an improvement in visual field than I thought I would get. I’m very happy that I had this done.

Dr Iyengar and his staff were wonderful to work with. They got me in last minute when I had an emergency and graciously took care of me. I had thorough follow up appointments to ensure everything was fine after. They’re definitely my first call if I have any issues in the future!
