I had LASIK 10 years ago. They said I might need a touch up around now so I made an eye appointment for a couple months from now. I still went to the eye doctor over the years to check for a genetic condition I didn’t develop. Thing is I moved to Texas so it’s not possible to see Dr. Schwartz and I wish I could. There are many ways I can describe the freedom he gave me but it is nothing short of a miracle. I was so visually impaired I couldn’t see very well with glasses and contacts were a struggle. Basically I was partially blind my whole life. I saved my money when I didn’t make much back then and researched doctors for 4 years. I settled on Dr. Schwartz. I found it interesting how his patients regarded him and his staff respected him as much as they did. When I had the surgery. It was lightening fast and when I walked into the waiting room afterwards I caught my breath. I never had seen the color of peoples eyes from a distance before that moment. I became totally overwhelmed by the people waiting who looked at me. Their eyes were beautiful. I almost cried. It was an emotional time in my life as I was given 20/15 vision. I know that isn’t everyone’s experience but the man changed my life so dramatically I had to post this review. I think my vision is still really good but I’ll check for sure at a doctor. Sorry for the late thank you. For anyone considering this doctor and his team and you want to know what it was like for me, I’ll tell you the thought I have in my head whenever I think back. Please forgive the analogy. It’s all I’ve got, please find the humor in it. I now understand why people are the way they are with Dr. Schwartz. I once was blind but now I see, better than average too. Simple as that.

You call and put on hold for a very long time, then she comes back ask what you want, I say make a appointment, "PLEASE hold", Then after a long time come back "What insurance do you have" Medicare and Supplement- "you have to call your supplement to see if your covered" Called Supplement "if doctor takes Medicare your covered By Supplement!!. You were told wrong" Call back put on hold 3 times by same girl- Would Not Give Her Name. After 3 phone calls was told 3 Months out to make a appointment. Doctor may be good ?, but he needs to hire some staff that can work the phone with common sense.

Highly recommend this place! Recieved LASIK eye surgery during 2017 and was not disappointed with the results. I went in to see if I was a good candidate for the procedure. Under went some tests and eye measurements which I have never done before [the weirdest thing was getting my eyes numb and having them poke them with a measuring tool to measure the radius of my cornea. Felt like my eye ball was swollen]. When I was informed of the procedure I set a date and could not wait. The day of the procedure was like any other day of surgery, you arrive early, the staff preps your eyes for surgery, and you go into it. The entire surgery took around 10-15 minutes and after I went home and slept. It took a few days for my eyes to heal but 12 months later my vision is 20/20 and I am still amazed with the results. Overall very pleased with this place and highly recommend to anyone looking at correcting their vision. They also have great selection of sunglasses.
