I just had my first appointment today. The entire staff is personal, cordial and very professional. Dr Simpson is very pleasant, takes the time to explain your personal situation. He listens to the patients concerns and he is very honest and upfront which I like. He was able to provide me with my first treatment the same day. I am so pleased we have a retinal specialist here in the Treasure Valley like Dr Simpson.

This is the worst experience I’ve ever gone through with Dr Simpson!! He didn’t bother to introduce himself. When he did this last test on my right eye, he said “this is going to be uncomfortable”. It hurt like hell!! He didn’t explain nothing about this test. It felt like he was using a metal scraper around my eye! When I put my hands up in pain, he told me to put my arms down and continued to cause excruciating pain. I had both my arms and legs curled up in a fetal position writhing in pain! He didn’t ask me if I needed a breather but ignored my fetal position, and kept scraping. I had to take extra anxiety med when I got home because my anxiety went through the roof! I was almost in tears when I left! I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia years ago and I feel pain 10X worse than normal. Sorry but I can’t go back! I only gave it a 2 because the rest of the women were very nice.

Dr. Simpson was the rudest medical professional I’ve even encountered. He walked in and he said why are you here? I tried to explain and he interrupted me. What do you want me to do about this? Well I was sent there because I’d gone to ER and had trauma to my face and they were worried about my eye. They wanted to see if my eye was damaged or if I was alright. Even if he didn’t understand the situation he didn’t have to be so awful! My husband and I just stared at each other. Then he got a call and walked out of the room. He is an grouchy old man that obviously needs to retire! I wouldn’t let anyone that rude touch me! Run! Go somewhere else!!!
