Professional , considerate & pleasant experience as he also explained everything that was going on with my eyes in terms I could easily understand. First time seeing Dr Waldman after being referred by my wife as I had relocated from Brooklyn to Hudson County NJ. Wasn’t keen on going to Milburn Location as Bayonne would have been more convenient but I was travelling & couldn’t wait to get an appointment in Bayonne. Will definitely go back next year for my annual visual checkup S long as they accept my insurance. Would definitely recommend Dr Walsman.

Front desk staff cordial. Technicians clear on instructions during diagnostic testing. Dr. Walsman is in high demand. Therefore patient wait time more than an hour to two hours. Practice should consider a patient facilitator to ensure patients (especially the elderly) know they are not forgotten in waiting area.

Dr. Walsman is a great glaucoma specialist. He is probably the best glaucoma surgeon in New Jersey. It's a very complex surgery... my mother had a horrible experience with another surgeon who operated on her right eye. Dr. Walsman operated on her left eye a decade later. The surgery went very smooth and recovery was swift. Dr. Walsman is very knowledgeable and caring specialist. I highly recomend him, especially for complex eye surgeries.

Dr. Walzman was really professional, knowledgeable, and addressed the issue I was having with my eye. He is very easy to talk to and takes his time making sure you are comfortable, explains everything clearly and even after asks if there are any questions you might have. …Unprofessional, to say the least…!!! I WAITED 2 hours, for a 1 minute look, with which he replied : “Big, BLACK Cataract… Let’s Get Rid Of It”…, & proceeded to get up & escort me to the surgical coordinator…!!! Absolutely NO Bed Side Manor, OR, for that matter, NO discussion about the options for lens replacement, and ONLY after I myself had mentioned it, did he sit back down & say, practically under his breath, “It’s $2,500.00, & it’s NOT covered by insurance…!!! After which I nodded & said that’s fine, he proceeded to get up AGAIN & walk me to the surgical coordinator’s office, mumbling about how he could PROBABLY “BLAST” my cataract with a Laser…!!! B.t.w., NEVER mentioned it would cost me ANOTHER $2000.00 out of pocket, the surgical coordinator did…!!! B.t.w., Camille the surgical coordinator rattled on so fast, I couldn’t understand almost anything she said so she mentioned several times to call her, which I did, & she returned my call…1 WEEK later, & STILL couldn’t address my concerns about post-op.,… Dr. David Harris 111, who was my original Ophthalmologist, & who was scheduled to to perform my cataract surgery 3 years prior, would have NEVER treated a patient with such disregard, & in such an RUSHED, uncaring, totally UNPROFESSIONAL manor…!!! Due to unforeseen circumstances, I was forced to postpone my procedure, much to my detriment. Dr. Harris has since left this establishment (Hudson Eye) to return to his home base in Tennessee, & I’m seriously considering making the trip there for his considerable EXPERTISE. All in all 1 star for Dr. Walsman just to submit this review…

From the moment I walked into his office I felt welcomed. Dr. Walsman is very kind, attentive and thorough as he explained the condition of my eyes and what it would take to correct it. His technicians & surgical coordinator explained everything that they were doing and always answered questions. For me "Kindness" is everything, you will experience this with Dr. Walsman and his staff.

I highly recommend Dr.Walsman for your eye health and care! He’s very knowledgeable and really cares about you and your eyes, he did my cataract surgery and I now see 20/20 and don’t need to wear glasses except reading glasses for small print. If you have cataracts make an appointment with Dr.Walsman and see for yourself!

Can’t say enough about Dr. Walsman! He’s not only the best ophthalmologist I’ve ever seen (and there’s been more than a few in my 70+ years) but he’s by far the best doctor! Dr. Walsman gained my trust during my first visit. He took the time needed to explain my condition(s) and my options. He really listened to my concerns, never blowing off what others have considered minor issues. Turns out I wasn't crazy. The Millburn office was busy but pleasantly staffed. Well worth the wait.

I have the opportunity to see the doctor several months ago. It was a referral from one of his former teachers. She thinks he is the cat's meow. A very honorable statement coming from one of your former attending. The doctor appears to be a very knowledgeable and has wonderful bedside manner. He came up with some interesting and new ideas. He is very friendly and very unassuming. I'd recommend them to anybody.

Doctor Walsman is the best. He did my cataract surgery and I had no issues. He is thorough and calm and the staff is wonderful and do very thorough exams. they are the best!

I was very impressed with Dr. Walsman as a professional medical source: also his skill and competence in discussion , diagnoses, and his sincere concern with treating the whole patient, not just symptons. He actually spoke to me and did not bury his attention in a laptop!

2 cataract operations eyes good as new still occasionally need reading glasses but lot less often than pre surgery

Dr. Walsman helps you understand the intricate test results, yet he tells you straight, which I prefer. Sometimes the results aren't what's expected, but he hangs in with you while you process everything.

So pleased to have found such a fantastic doctor- also excellent staff in all other areas. Dr Walzman is brilliant, wise and compassionate. You can plan for a wait, but it's worth it. I only wish calling the office and connecting with a live person was easier- this is the only thing I wish they'd work on.

Dr. Walsman is the best! He did my cataract surgeries along with stents to address my high eye pressure with great results, and I trust him with any necessary eye procedures in the future. He takes the time to explain what the procedures entail and he has a very caring personality.

It was very nice dealing with Dr. Walsman and his staff. They were very professional and I had a very good time during the surgery for cataract removal of the right eye. Dr Walsman is an incredibly talented physician and surgeon with an excellent bedside manner. He performed cataract surgery on one of my eyes and a cataract revision surgery on the other eye. Both times his skills and availability exceeded any doctors I had previously seen at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. Also, he is a truly nice person and takes time to answer all your questions. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Technicians handled all the testing. The data was presented to Dr Walsman. He spent a good 20 minutes explaining the results and proceeded to discuss the options for dealing with my issues. Couldn't be better! Since my first post, I've had two surgeries to implant new lenses in my eyes. Again, the staff at the Prism surgery center was exemplary, and all follow up visits were done with proper care
