I’ve been going to Shanks for the past 3 years. Top notch optometrist on Nolensville Rd. He always get my prescription right.

The staffs and doctor are nice and the place is also nice. But I felt like the doctor doesn't want to listen much if you have specific concerns or questions. We had to ask questions to the receptionist about how much our eye power has changed and whether we need new glasses or not, that generally we would know from the doctors.

I am a longtime patient of Dr. Shanks as were my children when they were young. Dr. Shanks is very kind, a really sweet compassionate Doctor. He takes his time in explaining things to you thoroughly. I can’t speak higher of Dr. Shanks or his employees, they are all wonderful. His wife is the receptionist and she is nice. His son, Brandon makes the glasses and will come out and answer any question you have. There is another lady that works there that has gorgeous long red hair, I forgot her name but, I adore her! There will never be another eye care facility that I would go to. They are that exceptional. I will be making an eye appointment for next week & dare I say that I’m looking forward to it. Just to be around some really nice, caring, compassionate people.
