I was born legally blind. I navigated with my sense of hearing, smell, and bright colors until I was 6 years old, and in first grade. It was the early 80s and here I was a little six-year-old wearing these huge bifocals. I didn’t care I could finally see my parents face for the first time. I remember asking my parents permission to sleep with my new glasses so I could see my dreams better. Fast forward 16 years later when I was 22 years older I had eye surgery performed by Dr. Shapiro and 25 year later at 47 years old I am so grateful for Dr. Shapiro He truly is the best Ophthalmologists. I would recommend Dr. Shapiro 100% hands-down. Thank you Dr. Shapiro for giving me the ability to see, you are appreciated.

Terrible, got there at 0715am and at 0930am the Dr hadn’t arrived and no patients had been called. Doors open at 0700am for no reason at all except to sit in a waiting room.
Oh, and don’t bother bringing your cellphone, there’s no reception either.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE.
They only care about medicaid patients so they can steal from them. You see the doctor for 5 seconds and you're not allowed to talk to him outside of that for any questions at all. They got my prescription wrong at their optic and they refuse to listen to my concerns unless I pay to see the doctor again. EVEN WHEN IT IS THEIR OWN MISTAKE. And the young girl i spoke to on the phone HUNG UP ON ME! So rude.
No personalized care either, those other reviews must be fake. Just check to see: the reviews with the most likes are the negative ones.
I had heard Dr Shapiro was an excellent doctor, but I am incredibly disappointed with my experience and especially his staff.
