This practice is a joke. I made an appt for my child and spend 20 min on the phone with the receptionist having her take all my child info and multiple times I let her know her age. I had to wait over a month for her appt just to get a call the day before that the Dr doesn’t see patients under 18 years old and wouldn’t even make an exception even though her staff told me they did and I waited over a month for this dang appt and it was really important for my child to be seen.

I have no doubts about the good quality of the health professionals in Sibia, but the methods for us to be attended by phone, whether it is to obtain an appointment or for any other procedure, are exhausting and abusive. In addition, the staff is racist. Latino patients are served poorly or not at all. They tell you they will call you back and they don't. I have had to go to the lake worth office to schedule an appointment because I have tried two days by phone and I was never attended.
For any simple process, this institute forces us to make multiple visits. Cataract surgery takes months of visits. It seems to me that this is a very rude way of taking our money.

Unfortunately due to the proximity to home and at the suggestion of the health insurance I have had to take my mother on several
sometimes to the clinic for a possible cataract surgery, it is more to say that they never see you during the appointment time. The delay in serving you can be an hour and more too. I can say that the technical staff inside seems very professional, but to make the decision to operate they have made us go several times and I really think the last consultation was unnecessary. The last visit that took more than a month to give us the appointment because they said that there was not before, we had to cancel it because my mother has been sick with COVID, so we called the day of the appointment to inform that we were not going and to make a new appointment. which was impossible by phone, the girl from the central attended us and they had more than 40
minutes to reschedule the new appointment like this on several occasions so calling that office is impossible, it also strikes me that they do not have Spanish-speaking staff at the reception, which for a large majority of patients like my mother who do not speak English It is almost impossible to understand each other, I suggest that the reception have staff who are bilingual. I hope that for the next appointment they schedule my mother's surgery because the delay they have had with her case between one appointment and another is really frustrating. We have spent months without a solution. I hope that this next appointment we can schedule by going personally to the clinic either to tell us when the surgery is.
