Im a bit confused about some of these low ratings. My expierence there has always been amazing. I have a chronic eye issue that has me there monthly and I've never waited longer than 10 minutes after arriving 15 mins early. I book as early as possible though, 7 am-ish. Dr. Stanko and his assistants have always been very kind.

It’s really rare for me to complain about anything but I must say the front desk staff needs help with customer service. They don’t smile, they don’t have any eye contact with you as you walk up to their desk, you don’t feel welcomed! This is the section in the office where you come to see a specialist, not the regular eye doctor side. We came in for my Mom’s appt scheduled for 9am. We were seated at 8:45, called in to do check in procedure then sent back out to the front to wait. My mom is diabetic and so she missed breakfast, after an hour of waiting I went up to check on an estimated time for when my mom would be seen, the receptionist/nurse said 15-20 mins. This young lady upfront has no personality, no customer service and especially when there are a room full of elderly folks sitting and waiting. We were finally called in 35 mins later , to sit in another room for another 15 mins before the doctor came in. It’s one thing to be scheduled at 9am and still an hour or more so still waiting, and then no empathy towards the folks here waiting, that’s terrible! When I looked up your website, first thing I noticed was your rating is 2.5, I can see now why you are rated like this. When you work at an office or even in the line of customer service , please learn how to talk and SMILE. Treat people with kindness. It’s not that hard! I hope the next time I bring my mom here (hopefully we don’t have to in a long time) I hope the staff here is nicer especially to the elderly, as the lobby is filled with folks sitting for hours waiting. Dr. Kanani is great though but the front desk Team really needs customer service training! Best Regards,
