Update 2: I ordered the contact lenses. Got a call in 3 weeks to pick em up. I ordered one 90 pack and one 30 pack. My right left eye's 30 pack was not even in a pack. It was in a ziplock, loose. On top of that, they didn't even have the correct lenses in that loose pack. As much as Dr Candace wants to help this establishment care for customer service, it doesn't seem like rest of the team cares as much. And let's face it, you will deal with the rest of the team way more than Dr Candace herself. 😔 Update 1: Owner and Dr Candace herself called me after previous review (despite being under the weather), and was very kind to explain what happened. They are under a lot of stress on a Sunday. It's a mistake which would have cost me a week but they made accomodations for me to come in the same day. It was very kind of them. Thank you to the Sight Optometry team. Previous Review: Good selection of spectacles. I used to get my contacts and glasses from here. I had my first doctor's meeting last week and that was very smooth, however staff at the optometrist are all over the place. I wish they were better. They could have saved me a week by scheduling me ahead of time instead of waiting for the trial contacts to arrive but they didn't and when I asked about it, their response was "well... What do you want me to do about it". It's the attitude rather than the act. They may have enough business so they don't care but I'll avoid them in future when and if I can. Not saying others are better but they definitely don't have customer service. You need to ask everything and probe everything to get the most out of them.

Our family has been going to Site Optometry for the past 10 years. Everyone there is so professional and helpful. They don't pressure any sales or add-ons for glasses. They are knowledgeable about what our benefits cover. Our glasses even came in a week earlier than expected. If you want a personal touch then definitely give them a chance.

I have been going here for years. They probably have the best optometrist in Bay Area. Very thoughtful and never rush during appointments. Front desk lady is also pretty amazing, very helpful in finding a schedule that works. Having said that I have had multiple bad experiences with the sales staff recently. Sales staff always try to upsell and do not care about what you need and rather focuses on what insurance can pay. They also have a fee for expedite service and delivery, which is fair. However if you don’t pay the fee then you will likely end up waiting months. My last glasses took 2 months, with zero communication and notification about the delivery date. They never returned the call despite promising to check and getting back with the order status. It’s almost like they really don’t care! I will definitely be trying a different optometry for my next pair, really not looking forward to the hassle again.
