On Oct 2022, I was referred to this eye center. I had an appointment for Nov 7th, 2022 at 1pm. I filled my intake forms. I noticed this center seem to be more concerned with my insurance. After going through an eye test and l was seen by the doctor. So l went to the Optical store to pick a pair of glasses. The total cost was $463, I paid $63 out of pocket. Because the lady talked me into buying some additions to my glasses. After making my payment. The lady that attended to me,stated my glasses should be ready in 2-3 weeks. And she would give me a call, after she asked me for my phone number (860).......On 12/7/22, became worried so l called medical insurance for assistance. One of the insurance advocates, was able to contact the Manchester, CT office. She was told my glasses has been ready since 11/15/22. So l took the bus to go to the Hartford office. When l got there, they told me that, they don't know anything about my glasses and the shop is temporarily closed, due to ongoing training and that their phone has been down. Also there's no way any staff in Manchester to my insurance advocate, that my glasses is ready and in Hartford CT So this staff called the Manchester office and left a message. She promised to call me the same day or someone would call me from Manchester. I was then informed, that the phone number they have for is 866. I said 866 is a toll free number and my number starts with 860. On 12/8/22, l called my Insurance Advocate to ask for assistance in obtaining my glasses. She was able to reach a staff at the Hartford office. And was asked to call back on 12/14/22 to find out if my glasses is ready. I called on 12/14/22 around 9:05, I was placed on hold and I got disconnected. Someone called me back from the Hartford office, informing me that my glasses is ready. I went to pick up my glasses. I received no apology. The Sight MD/ Fichman Eye Center in Hartford, are highly unprofessional and the staff are terrible. They have no public relations at all. I'll never recommend anyone to them or ever do any business with them again. A terrible place to go.

Went there this past summer because of my Davis Vision plan only could go on a Friday. The doctor that accepts my insurance plan only works on a Friday. The technicians were all nice. Some of the equipment was not working properly, the techs did all the checking, once I finally reached Doctor B he never checked my eyes, he never checked the prescription the technicians wrote. Doctor B just wrote up my prescription send me on my way! I used their optical dept. Two weeks later, glasses came back, wrong frame! Send back to correct, two weeks later I immediately knew the prescription was wrong, technician said I would have to get use to them. Horrible glasses, vision totally off. I was getting headaches, feeling dizzy totally off. I finally had to stop wearing them after 3 days and went back to my old glasses.Took the new glasses to another optician place compared with my old glasses was told my prescription was totally wrong! Im scared to bring them back but I plan to. I would not recommend this place to anyone!

The lady at the front desk was very nice and polite as well as the doctor but the lady over by the glasses, I think her name is Rebecca not too sure, she has no type of customer service skills whatsoever.
