I have been seeing Dr. Silverstein for probably 20 years and he’s always been very kind and personable. My problem arises in his billing practice. I had an appointment today. It’s been canceled and I’m not going back. I got a text early this morning that my $40 bill is now ready to pay. What $40 bill? I usually go in every 6 months and I haven’t received a bill in several years. I pay for extra insurance to cover these things and am fully insured. So when I called about the bill. I was told the charge was for the test done to determine if I needed new glasses and because I accepted the new prescription I was charged. Even though I accepted the new prescription, I couldn’t afford to get the new glasses. I can barely afford food and medicine, let alone new glasses. On top of everything else I found the attitude of the lady I spoke with to be downright rude. She basically left me feeling like she didn’t care if I came back or not.

Dr Silverstein is a rock star! He is also one of the kindest doctors I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. I would absolutely recommend him to my family & friends.

I have been wearing glasses for almost 20 years and Dr. Gaston is the best eye doctor I’ve ever had. She goes above and beyond for her patients. She listens to patient concerns and advocates for them exceptionally. All staff were amazing at Silverstein!
