Wonderful, friendly staff who go out of their way to be helpful. Dr. Skay was great with my teenage son. We recently lost his glasses while on a trip and they were extremely helpful in getting us a prompt replacement. Highly recommend them.

I went there while they had a special going on, or maybe God just blessed me... either way I got a great deal, and the doctor was very nice and super caring. In a week I'll get my glasses, so I don't know quality, but I'm super excited... p.s. I never write reviews.

The front desk lady is UNBELIEVABLY rude,( check his Yelp reviews, which I wish I did before going) from making the appointment to glasses fitting. This place does not accept Tri-care ( military insurance for service members and their families) so I used my daughters back up which is Medi-Cal, as soon as she saw it was medi-cal the stereotypes where flying left and right , " oh your picking the free glasses, here is the options" in front of a child no less, then when I asked for PD so we could order more eye glasses ( since she is a kid , multiple pairs are necessary) she stated they only give out the PD to people who order glasses there!! Which we did my daughter happened to like one of the "free" options cause they were purple ! And when I say free I mean covered by medi-cal insurance , so since we didnt pay for any of the extra nonsense we were considered none paying and could not get the PD to order online or on base, just a horrible experience with front desk ,its unfortunate because the doctor is actually really good and great with kids! There was a 4 year old who was seen right before my daughter who is 10 and he just did so well with all ages but I will not return until he fixes his discriminating front desk and actually supports the troops and their families not just puts up the stickers!

I been coming for the past 7 o 8 years. Dr. Richard is amazing good and very knowledgeable. His staff very professional and I am always ready to return again. I drive every year from San Ysidro , CA for my yearly exam.

Dr. Skay is thorough and has a warming personality. I recommend to get an exam from him.

I feel this place deserves 1 star because the older lady there is the only person with a heart in there! I went today to check my eye as it's red, the doctor checked my eyes for 20 minutes and didn't make any reference to it! All this whilst my 9 week old baby cried her eyes out! I couldn't leave her to anyone as I don't have anyone here!!! Is this a crime? The lady offered to pick her up but he said: no, this is not a nursery! At the end of the visit he walked out without saying a word to me! I was so upset for the way he treated me and my baby that I decided to leave and ask for a refund! I'll give my $168 to a doctor that is happy to serve people and has a heart!

He is great doctor, I went to many doctors, but non of them gave me the right prescription and I had all ways difficulty to see. Thanks Dr.Skay.

My family has used Dr. Skay for our eyecare needs for 10 years. He is extremely professional and witty. In addition to his service to his clients, Dr. Skay volunteers his time to civic and professional events. He is a top notch guy and great optomitrist.

Dr Skay is very detailed and knowledgeable. He makes sure he knows what is going on w your health via history and medications and can also help to determine what may be going on w your body through your eyes. He recommends full body health and nutritional support where needed. If your glasses don't work right the first time he and his staff make sure you get what you need. I have trusted Dr Skay and his staff w my eyes for the last 3 years along w those in my family. I highly recommend Dr Skay and his office!

My family came here for glasses and we were taken great care of by Dr. Skay who is professional and fun to talk to. The person in the front (darn, forgot her name) is so nice and friendly and we will return when we have optometry needs in the future.

Dr Skay is a gold mine to find in our little hamlet. His staff Jessica is wonderful and efficient. Dr Skay I find out was voted #1 Optometrist in San Diego County and no owner because he goes out of his way to make sure you get the best treatment and Jessica makes sure you get the best service.
