I started with a bunch of eye exams before seeing Dr. Sokol and some of those exams were on a VR headset, which was new for me. Dr. Sokol explained everything nicely during the exam, answered my many questions patiently and helped me pick the right contacts. For my questions about eye care, she didn’t just tell me what to do, but answered in the context of how she takes care of her own eyes, which I really appreciated! The staff is also fantastic! They made the process of buying contacts so smooth and quick and helped me save money where possible. Look no further for all your eye needs - this place is it!

Wanted to support a local business, especially woman owned but a situation yesterday has made me think I won't be back at Sokol. That said the Dr. that gave me and my kids exams was great, but after the exam they told my teenage kid he'd get a contact fitting and an insertion class (I believe their exact wording was, "we'll show you how to put them in"), and then they charge you $75. $45 for a fitting which used to be free, and $35 for "insertion school". The $75 is charged to you, not to your insurance. And they will not disclose any of this up front. I get that all businesses are jumping on the charging fees for things that used to be free bandwagon (can't wait until we're charged fees to use the bathroom and breathe the oxygen-why should that be free!?), but to not even disclose any of this up front is completely unethical to me. At least the airlines tell you what the bag fee is upfront. To be charged for something your parents or youtube could show you is ridiculous. I won't be back. If you go to Sokol, make sure you know exactly what they're charging, because they will not tell you up front.

I have been going to Dr Tessa Sokol for years. Her new office is clean, inviting, and relaxing. She takes the time to listen to her patients and is always looking for cutting edge screenings and treatment modalities to make sure we are getting the best of the best service. I also appreciate that she considers natural alternatives and therapies before jumping to prescription options. Highly recommend her!
