I have been coming to this place for three years and honestly, it’s so sad to say that each year it gets worse. This year has definitely topped the others. It’s incredible that I was suppose to get my prescription renewed in July and since I have been calling almost on a daily basis and NO ONE answers the phone and when they do, they put me on hold until it simply hangs up.the week before thanksgiving I finally get someone in the phone (who was extremely rude) asking me what did I want ?? (Excuse me??) I finally get scheduled for December 1, 2023 at 12:30PM. I show up a 12:25PM for my appointment and the place was CLOSED. How do you manage to schedule someone on a day the office will be closed. This place has become the absolute worst. Please save yourself unnecessary stress and look for another place.

I’ll start this review by saying when I first came to this place last week, the energy was off. The black girl with glasses at the front desk is NOT friendly. I went straight to the reviews wondering if anyone else wrote about her and found that someone mentioned the same thing. I thought maybe she is not having a good day but I come back a week later and it’s the same attitude, same demeanor, same misery. Very unfriendly, doesn’t greet you when you walk in or say a simple “have a nice day” just straight to the point, borderline rude. When I said thank you before I left nobody said anything, not her nor the other young lady working there. So I stopped to say something about that but I just decided to bite my tongue because I know I can get disrespectful. I’m not sure if she brings her problems to work with her but she cannot hide the fact that she is miserable and unhappy. While waiting I couldn’t believe how she went on with her coworker about “oh they are so nice over there”. I wanted to suggest that she’d take notes but I didn’t want to be negative like her. Either find a new job if you don’t like this one or leave your problems at the door. She also wasn’t very kind to one of the elderly customers there and seemed to not want to help her. It’s clear she wasn’t raised right and whomever hired her needs to get THEIR eyes checked if they can’t see she shouldn’t be the first person in contact for a customer service position. From a person that comes from many years of customer service working as a banker and bartender, I would NEVER hire her. Her negative vibe/energy is written all over her face and body language. That is all :-).
I will also add that everyone else is nice and friendly. Abby is very welcoming.

Dr.Chiu is amazing! He helped me correct an incorrect prescription I had for years and actually explained the issues I had with my vision. He is a very knowledgeable doctor and you can definitely trust his opinion. They have a great variety of glasses as well. I will definitely be coming back and recommending anyone in need of a new eye doctor.
