Soundview eye care really helped, the doctor took us in 30 minutes before close and helped my husband take out a metal piece in his eye. Non other places helped. They were only subscribing medication. In this clinic they treated him with medication and took out the metal piece. Overall highly recommend. Helped allot. *update- issue has been resolved, thank you! It was a learning experience for all 💜 This review is sad to share, as dr. Oland himself was very kind and took his time with me. The problem I had, was not being told that using state insurance would hinder the quality of my glasses until I was picking them up. Upon seeing how thick my glasses were, and despite paying extra for high index and anti glare coating, it didn't seem to make a difference. I expressed my concerns, to which I was told since I used state insurance, less quality lenses and coatings are provided. If I had been told this prior to paying, I would have just paid out of pocket. I'm afraid it was assumed that due to state insurance I didnt have the means to pay out of pocket. With a high prescription like mine- quality is impairitive. Even after my insurance, I still paid $187 for frames and lenses. So nearly $200 for glasses I cant wear with no refunds or exchanges provided. I now have to wait to be able to pay for another pair of glasses. I hope this review sheds some light for others on state insurance. I wish I would have been told before wasting my money.

I've had the opportunity to visit Dr. Oland several times and each time, I'm always amazed at the care and service that he and his entire staff provide. I've gone in for eye exams, medical visits, contacts, and eyewear. It is always easy to work with the staff and they are all very knowledgeable on the different insurance specifics. Along with that, their prices are very competitive, but what stands them out from their competitors is the service. It is always outstanding from the moment you walk in the door until you walk out. Highly recommend them.
