Rude front staff, I got an appointment for 2:30 and called because I was running late today. I was told there was 15 minutes grace period. When I arrived I was treated rude and told I was going to have to wait. I was given an attitude for no reason and while I was there I got a call with an emergency and stepped outside and the employee came outside to tell me my daughter will be seen but needs to still wait because we were late. For the record I was within the 15 minute grace period with 5 minutes to spare. Very bad experience. Go somewhere else if you can!

We had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Karen Villagomez during my mother’s eye examination. My mother is 84 years old, and I was assisting by translating the instructions for her. Throughout the appointment, the doctor spoke in a very loud and harsh tone, which made both of us feel uncomfortable and nervous. I politely mentioned that her tone felt like she was yelling and that it was causing distress, but she responded that “this is the way I talk” and did not acknowledge or apologize for how we were feeling. Additionally, she insisted that I wait until she finished speaking before translating, rather than allowing a more natural and supportive communication process for my elderly mother. Because of the stressful environment, my mother became too anxious to continue, and the exam could not be completed. As a result, we were unable to obtain a new eyeglasses prescription. I believe patients—especially elderly ones—deserve patience, understanding, and respectful communication. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet those expectations. Towards the end, her tone improved a little, but the overall experience was still uncomfortable.

It was fantastic.For the first time I went there I cannot complain about anything. Doctor, nurses they knew what they're doing. Explanations were very clear and understood. They're very nice. Clean place too. I will refer someone to them. Thank you! Great job!

It took me two months to get an appointment. But it was well worth the wait. My appointment was for 3 o’clock and at 3 o’clock I walked in the door the young woman who prepped my eyes and checked them did an excellent job asked me to wait in the waiting room until I was called. I waited about two minutes and the optometrist called my name, we went to the back room and she tested my eyes very thoroughly. . When that was done, she asked me to wait in the waiting room, but I was only there about two minutes and I was called in to receive my advice for the prescription and my options. I think it was the very best service I’ve ever seen in the medical profession. . The whole team worked as a well oiled machine. It was obvious that each one knew his job and took pride in it. It was so well organized that I don’t believe it could be just a fluke or a lucky day for me. I believe that anyone who goes there will feel the same way. Thanks to the whole team for your patience and understanding. All in all it was a very pleasant experience.

This is the most horrible place! Dr Villa Gomez tried to write me a prescription based on an error in my chart and when I corrected her she insisted that the information was correct and REFUSED to give me the correct prescription. I was supposed to talk to the Manager about it who completely ignored me and proceeded to laugh about my situation with the very immature Dr Villa Gomez and made me sit there while they laughed. This is a very unprofessional office. What kind of doctor insists on writing a prescription based on incorrect information. I have a very common last name and the doctor who wrote the incorrect information probably mixed me up with someone else. Dr Villa Gomez should be stripped of her license. Her attitude and condescending demeanor leaves little to be desired and her insistence on giving me a prescription that was based on another person’s information is shocking. I I DO NOT recommend South Florida Vision on N Military Rd West Palm Beach and I will be reporting them to the State of Florida.

Dr Karen villagomez was very proficient. Very cordial also very much I was informed with my results full eye exam extremely well done. I would recommend her to many of my friends and family. Appointment was right on time did not have to wait everyone was very cordial in the office.
