I'm always happy with my experience at Southwest Eye Institute but today I was disappointed with the med assist that started the initial exam. She was so busy yawning that I had a hard time concentrating or understanding what she wanted me to do. She didn't seem interested in my comfort in the least. Never have I been treated like this at Southwest Eye Institute because they have an outstanding staff. Update from my previous review: Southwest Eye Institute reached out to me and resolved my issues so back to a 5 star experience. I knew it would be resolved and in a timely manner!!

Had a cataract surgery...there medical personal are great...but there support staff is the worse...the girls in front are not supportive ..there just there...there organization is lacking...had surgery in one eye an was scheduled for the next one the week after..ask them when they said they didn't know an would let me know ..well they call me on Tuesdaybat 10 am to let me know the surgery is next day at 12:30 Who does that..they don't think I have a life..I have to plan around it since I have to someone take me an pick me up...normal medical facilities schedule it a week ahead..at least 2 or 3 days...an the girl who call me ..had the nerve to tell me that it was scheduled for this week...well yeah..but I'm supposed to be ready at your convenience....

I like all the tests performed on my eyes to keep track of my eye's health. Thankfully, still remains stable though I have lost some vision. The doctors are friendly and extremely knowledgeable.
