Moved here recently from Colorado Springs and had to find new docs and everything. So I used the optical shop attached to MW Eyecare. Wow, to say I'm unhappy with the attitude and customer service of this "optical shop" is an understatement. Really strange experience, something I wasn't expecting from the Midwest (East Coast maybe, but not in friendly Nebraska). I had just recently picked up new glasses and frames. When I got home I noticed a small crack in the frames, so I went back for warranty replacement. I asked about a "restyle" when I got there because I was concerned about these expensive Danish frames breaking too easily. Restyling is something they proudly advertise within a 90 day time period (it had been less than a week since I picked these up). Upon asking for a restyle I was immediately told that I'd have to pay any additional cost if I chose a more expensive frame, okay, no problem. I ended up finding a pair of frames that were $64 cheaper (I wasn't looking for cheaper, it just worked out that way). Anyway I asked if I'd get a refund on the lower cost. I was told "no". So I talked to the manager and told her that seemed unreasonable since I was expected to pay any extra if there was one. So here's my prob - I was left a voicemail from the optical office saying they'd refund the difference this "once" ... but if I needed another restyle not to expect a refund if there was any difference in price- (like I was abusing their system). This was just a really uncomfortable experience. This was also my first time using this optical shop and I guarantee it's my last. My husband definitely won't be going there for his new glasses. *Now a word, the doctors at Midwest Eyecare are the absolute best and aren't associated with this optical shop.

I don't normally write reviews, but I thought the other reviews posted here are not fair. The physicians at Midwest Eye Care are absolutely excellent. Both I and my mother have had surgeries with two different physicians--both were excellent. What I have seen written about the long wait has some truth to it, but I would rather wait a little longer to see an excellent doctor. Also, I have purchased glasses from Spectacles and really appreciate their 90-day, no-questions-asked money-back guarantee (although I have never had to use it). I would highly recommend Midwest Eye Care to anyone.

I have gone to Midwest Eye Care for the past 3 years. I chose this clinic for the ease of location, so I could easily get there from work and return in a timely fashion. Although, if I continue to sit in the exam room for 60 minutes every visit, I am not sure how the location benefits me. I will never return, after 3 yearly visits and 3 very late services. The billing staff is also not the friendliest.
