Dr Desai is always running late. Completely unacceptable. Today our appt was at 9:15 and my father wasn’t taken back until 10:15. When someone complained about the wait, the receptionist said the doctor had them move some appointments up in the schedule so the doctor could get out earlier. I understand that the doctor may need to leave for something but it is unacceptable to keep a patient waiting an hour and no one notified us of this wait when we checked in. It would have been better to cancel. This happens all the time. People have other commitments as well. It’s disrespectful of patients’ time.

Absolutely the worst experience I I’ve ever had at a doctor’s office! Was referred to this practice by my eye doctor for cataract surgery. Went to pre-surgery appointment. I had filled out all of the paperwork prior to the appointment. Receptionist wouldn’t take it because it “wasn’t their form” ( it was). When called, nurse took me into room right off lobby and started looking at my eyes, I asked if she could shut the door as I felt like I was in the lobby, she said no. She had a terrible attitude and told me multiple times that I would be “miserable” after the first surgery until I had the second surgery and then she started the upsell, that I really need different lenses that insurance won’t cover. Doctor came in and looking at my eyes, she and the nurse actually LAUGHED at how poor my vision is!! Incredibly unprofessional!! She just assumed that I was onboard for the upgraded lenses despite I said several times I wanted to think about it/research. They then put me in a room to wait for their scheduler, after 20 minutes I walked out and asked when someone was coming, another 25 minutes and she showed up and was upset with me because I was unhappy they kept me waiting so long! I said I was leaving and she could call me to schedule. She insisted I had to have a certain paper to “check out”. I went back to reception and despite 2 employees standing there, they told me to go around the corner and wait in a line. I left, and immediately called the doctor who referred me and told their staff the story. Got a different referral, thank goodness!! If I could give zero stars, I would!!

Was recommended to Spectrum for LASIK by my eye doctor. After my consultation, my folder/results were forgotten about and put aside on a desk. No one followed up with me until I reached out 6 weeks later. There was miscommunication with the original quote and it was like pulling teeth to make an appointment for a later date. Poor customer service, not friendly and seemed very annoyed to help. A true disappointment. I ended up going somewhere else for LASIK due to my experience with Spectrum.
